A/N: Hello peoples! This is my second story. I really hope you enjoy it ^w^

I don't care what you heard about Square enix KINGDOM HEARTS IS MINE! Well, in my dreams anyways. But sadly, I do not own Kingdom Hearts in reality. It belongs to Square enix.

Axel's Secret.

I sat on the edge of the Twilight Town clock tower watching the sunset. Today I came alone. Axel, my best friend, told me to meet him here. Sorry I didn't introduce my self. My name is Roxas, but you can call me Rox. What ever you do, do not call me Roxy. I only let one person call me that. Axel.

Axel is my best friend. We've watched the sunset together for years. Over that time I realized that I've grown feelings for him. I felt more than just friendship. I really liked him. The problem is I think he's with another one of my friends. His name is Demyx. Demyx plays the sitar and he has this obsession-type-thing with water.

I jumped when I felt a hand on my shoulder. "Hey Roxy. Why ya so jumpy?" Axel mocked. I turned around to see that he had a wide smirk across his face. "Maybe because you're a half hour late and you randomly appear behind me and scare me." I said in reply.

Axel just laughed, to witch I had to roll my eyes. "Where have you been? You're late." I complained. "I was running late on the errands my mom told me to do." he explained. "Well next time you could tell me when you're going to be late." I said. "Actually, no I can't. I dropped my phone in the pool at Demyx's house." he said. I raised my eyebrow. "Why where you at Demyx's house?" I asked. "Don't you remember he invited us over? You came with me." Axel said. "That was over a week ago." I said. "Yep." he said in reply.

He put his hand over my mouth before I could say anything else. "Let's just watch the sunset, okay?" he asked, keeping his hand over my mouth. I nodded in reply. He lowered his hand and put it back on his lap.

"Axel," I began, getting his full focus. I quickly changed my mind about the question. "Never mind. It's nothing." I quickly said. He tilted his head to the side. "You can tell me." he said. I shook my head no. "Come on Roxy. You can tell me. I'm your best friend." he protested. "It's a question." I said. "What is it?" he asked.

"Are you and Demyx, together?" I asked, trying to find the right words. A look of shock appeared on his face. "No. Why'd you think that?" he asked. I knew a light blush appeared on my face, so I avoided looking at him. "Well, you're always around him and over at his house." I explained, looking at the ground that was really far down. I wonder if anyone ever jumped…

"Trust me, I am not with Demyx. He's, helping me with, something." Axel tried to explain. I looked over at him. "What?" I asked. Axel looked away. "What is it? Maybe I can help too!" I said. "Its nothing." he said, obviously trying to hide something. I intend to find out what it is. This is where Drama class comes in handy.

"So you like Demyx better now?" I said, acting like I was hurt. "Of course not." Axel responded, looking back at me. I quickly turned my head, trying not to look at him. If I did, then he'd know I was acting. I could easily sound hurt, but I'd have the biggest grin in the history of grins.

"Then why will you tell him and not me?" I asked. "Be-because, I didn't want you to get tangled up in it." he said. To bad he's the worst liar in the world. "I know you're lying." I said before turning back to him. "You can tell me." I said, giving him a sincere look.

He shut his eyes and sighed. I tilted my head in confusion. "I promise that I won't tell any one." I said. I watched him, waiting for him to respond while he just watched the sunset. In one quick movement, he pressed his lips on mine. I could have sworn my brain went dead for a few seconds and my heart had stopped beating. When I realized what was going on, my eyes fluttered shut.

So this was Axel's secret? I'm fine with that.
