Prologue -

Years ago there were dark creatures who roamed the earth, they were called 'Grimm". They are monstrous creatures who lack a soul to exist. Lore from many tribes called them earthbound spirits of animals that were tortured at the hands of humans or normal animals possessed by them. Their goal was to wipe out mankind in any form possible without remorse for them. No one knows how they came into existence.

They were powerful and ferocious. Humans had no way to fight back and lived to fear of them. A powerful substance buried underground, they named it dust, after humanity's humble beginnings. Those who trained in the arts of dust were called huntsman. Brave warriors who learned to harness the destructive power contained within these crystals to push back against the monsters. To this day, huntsman are still trained to protect the kingdoms that were built when humanity finally fought back, and dust is still harvested from mines, and has now become an everyday facet of life.

But over time, some became overzealous in their quest to protect humanity. This led to a world of oppression and monochromatic darkness where to the point it was named 'The Great War' where everything lacked color and the basic human right to expression was rendered a crime. History recorded it as the war that held for eighty years until those who fought for freedom won the war while those who oppressed freedom where held accountable for their actions.

After 'The Great War,' came another. A war fought between humans, and race that held animal traits, called the Faunus. The Faunus War was about the equality balanced between humans and Faunus. Humans disliked the idea of having Faunus walking on the same path as them. This lead Faunus to move from their original homelands to an continent named Menagerie, as a result of the 'The Faunus War' A byproduct of these events led to the formation of an organization known as the White Fang. Originally a peaceful group who fought for the rights of Faunus through nonviolence and for peace and unity between humans and Faunus, after repeated failures and ongoing discrimination by humans, the White Fang leader soon stepped down and was replaced a more radical leadership. After this, they became more violent and aggressive. Now they only see humans as an interference to their organization's objectives. Instead of peaceful cohabitation, they now want to simply eradicate humans all together, along with adopting a "You're either with us or against us" mentality towards fellow Faunus who don't follow in their foot steps.

Now this chapter in Remnant's current generation lies in the hands of youths who are willing to make a mark in their way of life

and how fate will lead them to the an unknown world that is full of conflicts and choices they have to make.
