Pripper – Chapter 1

Writer's note: This scene takes place after Skipper tells Private his feelings (humanized), and yes, this is a Pripper fic, so if you don't like the couple, then please don't read this just so you can say mean things about this couple, it would be like us Pripper fans going to a fanfic about Skilene, or Marski, or Koju and calling it lame, or stupid!(which they're not.) So, I hope you like it! :P

"Heart beats fast, colors and promises, how to be brave, how can I love when I'm afraid, to fall, but watching you stand alone, all of my doubt, suddenly goes away somehow, one step closer…I have died everyday waiting for you, darling don't be afraid, I have loved you for a thousand years, I'll love you for a thousand more…"

Privates POV:
"Private, I love you." the words boomed through my ears. I couldn't help but pull him back. It felt as if we belonged with each other. Like that single moment of time was meant to be. But something as well was holding me back. As if my conscious took a hold of my mind and told me, "snap out of it!"

I felt a warm tear being slide down my cheek. I immediately covered my face with my hands and took off, leaving Skipper speechless. I couldn't believe I had just rejected him with so little notice. I couldn't bare too look back and see his sweet smile turn into a lost mixture of emotions which in his case, had no alternative but to be released with anger, violence, and frustration.

Skipper's POV:
I was shocked. I couldn't believe that Private had just ran out without saying a word. I felt a mixture of pain and sadness but after a few minutes, these feelings soon turned into anger.

"WHY. DID. YOU. TELL. HIM!" I repeated over and over as I punched the HQ walls. My knuckles ached. But do to my nature I couldn't stop while my anger was still pinned up. "It's not fair…" I murmured to myself as I stopped and leaned my head against the rough and cold surface of the stone wall in the HQ. "It's not-" My words stopped cold as Private entered the door.

I just shut my eyes and sighed, just waiting for another rejection. Out of no were, Private charged towards me and hugged me. He then looked up at me and gave a large slow smile and looked back down blushing, while still embracing me. I couldn't hold it in any more. My eyes filled up with tears. I didn't understand the feeling that took hold of me at that moment.

"What happened to your hands?" gasped Private. "Well, I-" I got stopped by Private once again.

"Wait here." He said in a soft and reassuring voice. He left the room for a few seconds, and then returned with a box full of bandages. "This should do the trick!" he yelled as he began to wrap my arms in bandaging while humming a cheerful tune. I couldn't help but to blush.

Private's POV:
I knew that I could no longer hide my feelings for him, and now that I knew he felt the same way, I couldn't just push it aside…at least….not anymore. I turned back to HQ running just to see Skipper with his knuckles all bloody, and his face filled with deep hurt. My immediate response was to cover his hands with bandages the best I could, after all, it was for my love.

"So…does this mean…that…we're you know…together?..." asked Skipper with a slight hint of awkwardness in his voice. I froze up at the question. For a moment I stopped to think, and then I softly answered, "Well, I…yes…" I looked down to the ground blushing.

"Good." was his only response as he pressed his firm lips on mine…

Well, that's all I got, tell me what you think and if I should continue it or not, thanks for reading this, and please rate and comment! (PS. If anyone likes this, then I'll do couple/pairing fanfic requests! :3)
