SUMARY/ A Teddy, Tonks and Lupin moment.

The two of them lay on the bed, side by side. Both in the same position, on their stomachs with their heads resting on their right hand and the lefts were out stretched in front of them while their legs were sprawled out. You could tell just by looking at them that they were farther and son, with the same chiselled chin, pointy nose and the same sandy-brown heir colour (while Teddy was resting anyway)Teds was the spiting image of Remus. Yes, there was parts of me in him, the high cheek bones and grey-blue eyes, but nothing pleases me more than watching the two of them together, how they brought the best out in one another. And the best part was, they were both mine. They both annoyed me terribly at times, Teddy had nights were he just screamed inconsolably and Remus could just be an ass. But sometimes, like now, I just welled up with love and compaction that I just wanted to cry.
I loved them so much. It was late and I knew mum would be home from the night shift soon and so I decided to get Teds settled before she came home, so he wouldn't disturb her later. Normally Remus would put him to bed and complain that I had him all to myself for nine months and say that it was his turn to look after him, but as he was still shattered from the previous night's transformation, he wouldn't mind. I lifted Teddy up as gently as I could and took him into the nursery, singing an old French nursery rhyme mum taught me yeas ago as I went. I placed him carefully into his cot, trying not to wake him, and kissed him on the cheek to say goodnight and headed back to our room. I changed out of my work cloths as quietly as I could, but in doing so I fell over the laundry basket twice; luckily both my boys were so deep in seep, neither stirred. Then I climbed into bed and lay next to my amazing husband, and was asleep in minutes.
