Alright, This is my first piece. Yes, Please, Don't flame me because i don't watch Naruto 24/7, Or wear Naruto gear in public. Hell, I only saw around 25 episodes and know most of the basic things i need to know to get this story going. Hope you all like it.

Timeless Dreams

Verse I

As the drops of water rained from the sky, Echoing the water as it hit the earth. Farmers clear their goods, And yield from what they are currently doing. Songs of birds digress into sounds of raindrops as they huddle into their nests, Search for warmth, And refuge.

"Refuge..."

The word rocked around in Naruto's mind as lightning struck the ground, Thundering with an abundance of power. Shiver at it's peak, Naruto squints his eyes, Off in the mirage of rain, a formation of rocks, undifferentiated from a cave

"Refuge!" Thought Naruto.

No greater, Nor less, Happiness could fill Naruto more than the happiness of this one cave. He walked slowly towards it. Mirroring hate and fear in his eyes. He got into the cave and lay to rest along the musty wall.

"Deprived of everything..." Though Naruto.

"My clothes, My weapons, And maybe, More likely. My Life." He thought.

Tears started to fill his eyes, Slowly dripping down his cheeks. No one to comfort him, No one to save him... No one to love him. Thoughts of anger and confusion filled his mind. Par to that, He did not want to know until he was ready to think straight. Holding his arms to his chest, And his knees to his arms, He slowly fell asleep, Trying not to think of the affliction that has been cursed upon him.

Verse II

As the sun rolled over the mountains and warmed the earth like an oven. Naruto awoke to the sounds of birds, Projecting louder, To the sun, The light, The happiness. He cramped himself up, Cracks, Rang through his body like a church bell, Ringing loudly. Stammering to the outside of the cave. Naruto couldn't remember anything. The timeless memories he had once known, And loved, Dissolved into the blackness of what he once knew as, Love.

"Who? Why? I don't remember anything... It's tearing me apart!" He screamed.

He immediately had the first signs of instinct kick in. He immediately searched for flint. Returning hours later with five, Well shaped rocks of flint. He gathered all his strength to start picking off the edges of the flint. Until... Pain, It whipped at his back like an arrow piercing through his skin. He finally realized.

"These cuts?! Where did they come from!" He grunted in pain.

He looked at his cuts and started to gasp. His eyes straying from one cut, to the next. The bleeding had stopped, But the scars were everywhere. He then sat on a rock, Aching all over his body. Sleep, At this time of crisis was not an option. Where he was? Unidentifiable. How he got there? Out of the question... Only thing on his mind right now is, Survival.

"Water, Fire, Food." He whispered to himself.

He slowly lay down, Trying not to sleep... Helping to to fall into sorrow. Aching, Hungry and tired. He stops, And thinks.
