GUNPOWDER TREASON AND PLOT
WOW: gunpowder and/or treason and/or plot. History can sometimes disappoint; well, some people at least.
Disclaimer: I don't own them

Jack strolled out of the bunker's library carrying a book.
"I was just reading about a poem that says 'remember, remember, the 5th of November.' Why do we have to remember it?"
Sam smiled and beckoned to the young Nephilim to sit between the brothers.
"It's something they do in Britain," he explained; "about four hundred years ago, a group of men got a load of gunpowder and tried to blow up parliament. But one of them, a man called Guy Fawkes was caught, and found guilty of being a traitor, so he was executed by being disembowelled, which is what they used to do to traitors then."
Jack's nose wrinkled in disgust.
"So now, on the 5th November every year, British people build bonfires and have fireworks, and celebrate the capture of Guy Fawkes, and sing a song that goes 'remember, remember the 5th of November, Gunpowder, Treason and Plot."
Suddenly Dean chimed in. "They celebrate the capture of this Guy Fawkes dude?"
"Yeah, that's right."
"What, do they disembowel anything?"
"What … no! Of course they don't Dean."
Dean rolled his eyes, and took a swig of beer; "pfft, just when I thought those cissy Limeys were actually sounding interesting for once …"
