Thoughts are usually disconnected during a fight, jumping from one thought to another, interrupted by a flurry of
activities by either combatants. As such thoughts are usually stilted and disconnected with the only unifying theme
of action and pain. Do you think I managed to portray that in my poem?
Barbarism of a fight
Move, move faster faster
So weak so weak , move
Turn, look look!
So little! so little damage!
Higher, higher. Jump! Jump!
Harder, harder! Blood on fists!
Blood! Blood! Sprayed everywhere
Turn, look look!
Open your eyes, Watch, watch!
Move now, move!
A kick, a fist, a block
Hurts, pain! Shooting pain!
Move, move. Stand, stand!
Pain! Pain! My eyes tears…
I stand, I attack. A swirl of dusts
Punch, kick, a confusion of moves
Move, move! Faster, faster
Higher, higher, Jump. Jump!
Harder! Harder! Pain…
Stand, stand and move!
btwthis was the result of listening to a naruto amv while looking at a blank page, so i just typed trying to pierce
through my writer's block and lethargy... And viola this was the result :) I guess that's the reason why I posted this
under naruto… So back to the question did I manage to portray the disconnected of thoughts during a fight? do
leave a review...
