First of all, hello everyone, hope you're well. This is the prologue, hope you like it.
To consider:
1. I'm Mexican. My English is bad, I have my first beta reader to help me with the editing: Sabere Commander, thank you so much for your work with this chapter.
2. "La familia Shuzen" is the original version of this fanfic, this is only a translation.
3. The original fanfic has almost 3 years old, that's why there will be a couple of changes of the story.
4. The world of Naruto series and Rosario + Vampire are combinated as one, so the past that you know from both series are not just like you know, so the characters you know are not the same because it has different pasts. What is the story of this combinated universe? In the fanfic are the answers, just keep reading if you wanna know.
You will understand better with this points.
"Hello". Character talks.
"Hello". Character thinks. The italics will have more than one use, like the text of a letter, for example.
Enjoy.
Prologue
The sky was devoid of beautiful shining stars on this cold night.
Gales and rain joined into a destructive symphony to conceive a storm that would be remembered for many years to come. But still the might of the elements were not enough to create a dent in the massive stonewalls of an equally gigantic castle as they struck repeatedly against the ancient structure.
It was unthinkable that someone would be outside defying such weather, but somehow a cloaked figure marched with determination through the merciless winds and freezing raindrops, holding a basket against their chest and covering it as best as possibly against the fury of nature.
At long last the figure and its precious cargo arrived at the main entrance, escaping from the rain. The cloaked figure took a deep breath before they took the handle of the basket with their left hand and stood before the castle's magnificent oak double doors. The figure then put all the strength it had left into pounding at the door with its free arm, hoping and praying, to whatever god observing them from above, for its pleading to be heard over the raging storm.
Once exhausted, the figure slumped against the was only one thing left to do, the hardest thing to do.
The basket was placed on the floor with unmatchable finesse before the character in the cloak kneeled at its side. In the basket a bundle of cloth could be seen stirring. "Be strong and happy..." A hand moved the blanket covering the bundle aside just enough to reveal the face of a sleeping baby with the tiniest bit of blond hair. "... and never give up. I know you can do it."
Voice quivering and unable to continue speaking, the figure reached for one of the baby's cheeks. Its hands were numb from the cold and soit didn't even feel pain when it came to striking the doors… but, somehow, they could feel the warmth coming from him. "Goodbye."
A tear soaked into the otherwise dry blanket, but the owner of said tear was already gone into the night.
Seconds later, the doors to the castle opened and a very beautiful young woman with pink hairappeared from the doorway. Her green eyes scanned the area, but found no one. Only the noise caused by the storm greeted her; although, her keen hearing caught something mixed into it.
"Bua... bua."
At her feet laid a basket and the something she heard were the cries of the baby in it.
She took him in her arms, for her maternal instincts and gentle nature would never allowed her to leave him todie. The moment he opened his deep blue eyes and looked at her she just knew she had a new member in her family.
"Shhh, don't cry, you will be okay…"
The woman looked back at the basket to find a scroll and a letter, which she immediately read. After reading the letter she gathered all of the baby's things and entered the castle.
With the baby pressed to her bosom, the woman with the pink hair traversed multiple hallways lit only by the flickering flames of the candelabrums. By the time she reached her destination the baby had already stopped crying and was now resting pleasantly against her black dress. With unrivaled gentleness she laid him to rest in a crib with another baby.
"I hope you two get along." She touches their cheeks lovingly and then goes to examine the blue-eyed baby's things.
"This child should have one year like my daughter." When the pinkette searched the basket, she discovered a secret compartment. On the inside she found a necklace with a green stone shaped like a diamond and a note:
Give this necklace to the child when he is eight years old. Also, please protect him, give him a home, happiness, and do not let him fall into the wrong hands. I cannot do it anymore. If you do, I will be able to rest in peace, now please take care of Naruto.
