With that in mind, the creator of the story has no intention of offending the creators Takahiro, Tetsuya Tashiro, its franchise, the series itself, or the people who like the series. Hello Everyone, this is my first story of Akame Ga Kill. I am using a new OC character to fit in the story. This character's story will cross with Night Raid soon enough.
It is the year 1024
Inside deep of the woods, there is a young man with a sword hunting for Danger Beasts, a group of giant red-eyed mountain boars approached the young man looking to eat him. The appearance of the young man has fare skin, average neck length hair, the color of his hair was dark brown, golden eyes. He is only 17 years old. Flare wields one sword to encounter Danger Beasts. The clothes he wear are a red buttoned shirt, dark blue pants and brown boots. He is Flare, because of his Teigu.
Flare possesses an Elemental-Type Imperial Arms called the Sun God Ashburning : Sunstrider! It is an Elemental-Type Imperial Arms that gives its user the power to control fire and ash. You can create any any type of attack you want with it, but the catch is that there is no original Trump Card, so you would have to make one up. Sunstrider was said to be as powerful and dangerous Demon's Extract. It originated from an S-Class Danger Beast, a phoenix which lived inside of a Volcano, south from the Empire. There is only one in the world. It is impossible to catch by normal, but not impossible to Imperial Armed users. Legends say that almost at the end of its life, it hides and lays an egg inside of a volcano where no one could get it. Once the new phoenix is born, the old one dies. Its blood was used to create an Imperial Arms, and only those who drink the blood will gain Pyrokinesis. You have to be strong-willed, body and mind to drink the blood. Those who are not strong-willed or do not reach the requirements will burn of thirst and die out. Those whom possess the Imperial Arm will gain a fiery mark of a bird on their back and their eyes will shine golden eyes. They can create, control, and into transform fire at will.
"Come and get it you pigs." Said Flare. As the boars charged head first into their prey, Flare dodges the first boar "Too slow." Says Flare who is easily dodging wild Boar. "Sorry guys, but I have a village to feed. Let's get this started." The boar began to dodge at full speed, the young man pulls out one of his swords and slashes one on the side causing it to crash into a rock and bleed to death. The other two boars charged in at once and they had shared the same fate. The last boar stood scared and decided to tuck its tail and run. "Aw, I thought this one was going to die along with the rest, but this is enough to bear for its village." Says Flare who looks at the dead boars.
While walking he thinks to himself. "It's been a while since I've done this. I wonder, will everyone back at the village appreciate this much? I guess they should.' Flare said dragging the tied beasts back to the village.
An hour later, Flare has brought the Beasts to the gates.
Flare is tired from dragging the dead beasts. "Hey! I'm here! Open up" he says as he waves "Hey! Open up!" Flare yells.
Flare had lived in this village his whole life. It is called Ragako village, Ragako used to belong to the Western Tribe. During a war, the Capital attacked and conquered this village wiping out almost every man, women, and child. Only a few survivors made out and fled. Years later, the village was still belongs to the Empire and is currently one of the poorest villages in the nation. The village lacks money to repair walls and purchase weapons, and armor. St times, they had to hunt for Danger Beasts and wild animals in the forests and mountains.
Everyone who lives in Ragako are orphans and veterans. Mostly orphans. As he is waiting for the gates to open, a kid Scout wakes up sees the young man and rings the Tower Bell. "He's back!" He yells. People start to come out and notice the dead beasts. The gates open up and await him are the villagers and especially three young girls. These girls look up to him, as much as they look up to the Priest. One had shoulder length golden blonde hair, Amber eyes and a orange-gold raincoat matching her boots. Her name is Fal. One had neck length blue hair, aqua blue eyes and a blue raincoat that has rabbit ears attached to its hood matching her boots. Her name is Luna. And the other had long pink hair, pink eyes and a pink raincoat matching her hat and boots. Her name is Air.
"Flare you made it!" yells Air with excitement
As Air is about to walk towards him, Fal quickly passes Air and rush towards Flare
"Wow, that's a lot of boars! Fal says in excitement.
"It's nice to see you Fal." Said Flare
How did you it?!" Fal questioned with an expression
"Well, I have to show you one of these days..." said Flare
"Alright!" she yells. Two other girls walk behind Flare
"Hi Flare, how was your trip?" Asked Luna.
"Luna. It's been good. I found some shiny stones by the river and I thought you would want it." He said as he took one of the stones out of hid pocket.
The girl in blue blushes as she takes the stone. "Thank you so much!" Luna said with joy.
"H-hi Flare." Said the nervous Air. "H-how are you?" Air said as she continues to blush
"I'm okay, thanks for asking." He replied.
"I'm glad you are safe!" Air said while trying to hide her blush "Um, why don't you c-come in?"
"Thanks." Flare said. He then enters the village
Minutes later, the hungry people took the boars and mad use of them right away.
"This is enough food to cover for the Winter!" a villager said.
Hours later, they decided to have dinner.
"Hey Flare. Why do Danger Beasts attack people?" Fal asked
"I think it's because they're trying to show who's boss, or they're just scared of us." Flare said.
"Scared?" Fal asked.
"Yes, when I caught the other boars, the last boar decided to run away. I guess that one didn't want to die all of a sudden." Flare said while eating meat.
"Wow, I want to be a hunter just like you when I grow up!" Fal said excited.
"It must be nice, you grown ups get to go wherever you want while us kids have to stay put." Luna said.
"Think of it this way, Luna. Kids have to be looked out after. Adults wouldn't feel right if people just let anything happen to kids." Flare said.
"Okay." Luna said.
"Flare, is it true you're going to the capital?" Air asked.
"Yeah. I'm going soon, to get money and do what I can for this place. This is like the only home I ever knew." Flare said.
"In that case, I want-" Father Christopher interrupted Air and calls Flare.
"Flare, I need you to come with me." Said Christopher. Flare was approached by a middle-aged man by the name of Father Christopher. He is a tall man in a black catholic suit, short messy gray hair, small hair on his chin and wears dorky glasses. Everyone calls him either father, or the priest. Flare would just usually call him old man. Father Christopher is like the reason this village still exist, and everyone in the village respects him. "Old man." Flare said. Flare then followed the priest inside the church.
"Now that we're here, I want to ask you something." the Priest started to say. "Have you been using… THAT power?" asked the Priest.
"No. Ever since you told me to not to use that power, I'm been under complete control." Flare replied. "You also told that there are people who want this power."
"Good, there's something else I've been wanting to tell you." said the Priest.
"What's that?" asked Flare.
"Are you aware what's in the Empire?" the Priest asked.
"Yes. That's where the Imperial Army is from, right?" asked Flare.
"No. I asked you, are you aware of what's IN the Empire?" the Priest asked him again.
"No, I don't know what goes on in there." Flare answered.
"Yes, they are. I know you're planning to go to the Capital not long. Listen, there's something you must know." Christopher said getting ready to spill a hard truth. "The Empire is no ordinary Empire. The place is filled with monsters, not the ones you fight from time to time, but humans." the Priest said.
"Sorry old man, but I don't think I follow you." said Flare.
"What I mean is that there are people inside the capital are people who are complete monsters. They are gruesome, cruel, they do things to others for their own sake of entertainment. You can't trust anyone inside the Empire." Says the the Priest.
"Why is the Empire like that?" asked Flare.
The priest sighs. "That's the hard part I want to tell you. There's an evil man named Honest. He is the current Prime Minister and the more reason the empire is on the brink of self-destruction, and most of all..." The room was in silence for at least 5 seconds. "Flare this might be hard on you, you might get frustrated and all-"
"You can just say it, old man." said Flare.
"Prime Minister Honest is your biological father." Christopher said. Flare's eyes widened.
The priest puts his hand on Flare's shoulder. "Look, I know it sounds shocking, but it's the truth..." The Priest said.
"So I'm his bio son, huh?" Flare asked with his eyes shadowed.
"Yes." the Priest answered.
"Why? Why did it have to be me?!" Flare lashed out, also knocking off the Priest's hand.
"I don't have the answers myself, I'm a Priest, not a Miracle Worker!"
"If he's my dad, why am I not with him then?!" Flare shouted.
"Because he cares about no one but himself! I've known the man his entire life! I know his kind, he is evil down to the core! If he was somehow in trouble, he would pin the blame on someone innocent within a heartbeat! That's the type of guy he is!" the Priest said.
"If he's that evil, why did you take me in, his on?!" Flare shouted.
"Because you're nothing like him! You were small, innocent! You think he cares about making thousands of kids?!" I took you in because I knew what they do to illegitimate children! If he found out you were his son, he would've fed you to the hungry dogs! I saved you... when you were a baby." the Priest said calming down. And plus, he's the one who has been pressing heavy taxes on this village. "the Priest added before drinking a cup water.
"Where did you even get that water?!." Flare asked shocked.
"Back to where I was..." the Priest said wiping his glasses. "That's not all. Right now there is a child emperor he is manipulating."
"A kid… emperor?" Flare asked in concern.
"Yes. He chose a child to become an emperor. The reason he picked a child is because he knows that most children can be somewhat of naïve, and they don't know what waits for them in the outside world." the Priest said.
"So that's why." Said Flare. "Are you asking me to kill my bio dad?" Asked Flare.
"ARE YOU KIDDING!?" The Priest said after punching Flare in the head.
"What was that for!" Asked Flare while rubbing his head.
"It's called acting careless, if someone hear you say that from inside the capital, even in a remark of a question, you will be beheaded!" said by the Priest in a quieter voice. "Look, do what you must, but the job won't be easy. He has followers within the capital, who will defend him at all costs. Be careful. Never let your guard down." Says the Priest
"Have you heard of an Imperial Arms?"asked the Priest.
"Not really..." Flare said.
"That fire power... you possess. It's not something an ordinary person carries. It's really an Imperial Arms." the Priest said giving a book about Imperial Arms to Flare. "There are up to 48 Imperial Arms in total. That book will tell you everything you need to know." said the Priest. "And another thing I should tell you. In the capital, there is a group of Assassins who roams the night calling themselves Night Raid."
"I think I've heard of them before, I thought it was some kind of Danger Beast." said Flare "So they just murder people?" asked Flare.
"Yes. But it's only certain people. It's not like people at random. I don't have the full details. Maybe they're doing it to cause war, or they're doing it to cause peace. Their objectives are unknown. If you encounter Night Raid, fight to live, if must kill so be it." said the Priest.
"Ok, I'll take your advice very seriously." Said Flare with a serious face.
"Another thing, do not use your Imperial Arms in public, they will either kill you on the spot or use you to bolster their military forces." the Priest said.
"Flare. I'm going to train you before you depart. Right now, the Empire is looking for as many Imperial Arm users as possible." the Priest said while putting his hand on his shoulder.
"Wait, I'm in the best shape I can be." Flare said.
"Sometimes strength and determination alone isn't enough to win a fight. You're gonna need more than that, my son. I'm gonna do something I have never done with anyone else. And that is to teach you how to use Qi." Flare said.
"But I already know how to open doors." Flare said.
"Not that key! Qi. "Q.I." the Priest spelled oit "It is the Life Force inside a person, in other words, the circulation of life. Everyone has Qi inside them, but yet to unlock them. Qi is a driving force, you can use Qi to predict your enemy's movements and in enhance. For example "the Priest said holding up a finger "the five senses Sight, Sound, Touch, Taste, and Smell. I never taught anyone this before..." the Priest stated.
"Wait, why are you teaching me this now?" Flare asked.
"Because you're planning to go to the capital, and you need to know how to survive." the Priest stated.
"I was a kid when I learned Qi. I learned it from a Xiaolin Monk, he was wise... I was his successor. He passed his teachings to me, when I find my successor, I'll pass my teachings to him/her." the Priest said.
"So what does that make you, a Christian or a Buddhist?" Flare asked.
"That's not the point!" the Priest yelled. "Look, I chose to train you, because out of everyone in the village, you have the most potential." Flare looked kinda confused. "The question is... are you up for the job?" asked the Priest.
"Yes!" said Flare with a proud expression.
"Good, now follow me." Flare and the Priest then left the church to find Sister Lisa.
"So where are we going now?" Flare asked.
"We're going to see Sister Lisa." the Priest said while walking.
"What does she have to do with anything?" Flare asked.
"In case you don't know, Sister Lisa is a pro when using all five sense. We're going to teach you." the Priest said. We walk to the barn and found Sister Lisa feeding the pigs. Ah, there she is.
"Hey, Lisa!" Flare yelled getting her attention. Sister Lisa is dressed as Nun, she has long blonde hair, sky blue eyes. She is sweet as pie, and enjoys watching over the orphanage. You see, here's the thing. Women can become Nuns, and Nuns are not allowed to marry. Sister Lisa became a Nun, because she didn't want to be harassed by guys. She's the legitimate daughter of a rich merchant from the capital who ran away because the Empire was too cruel.
The Priest punched Flare in the head again "Call her Sister Lisa, don't just yell out Lisa!" the Priest yelled.
"Good afternoon Father, Flare." Sister Lisa said.
"Yes yes. Good afternoon. "the Priest said.
"Is there anything I can do for you?" Sister Lisa.
"Yes, Flare is planning to depart to the capital. Before he leaves, I need you to teach him how to use all 5 senses at once." the Priest said.
"You want to learn Qi? Sister Lisa asked.
"Well, yeah you can say that." Flare said.
"Oh, that's easy! Using all five sense, I think of it as flipping a light switch." Sister Lisa said.
"Wait, a switch?" Flare asked.
"Yes. I tend to use all senses at once. Think of it as on, and off light switch. When you do and don't need it." she said as she's pretending to turn the lights on and off with her fingers.
"Oh, I get it now. I want to try it now." Flare said.
*Timeskip*
"During my time as a kid until now, the Old Man kept his word and started training me of Qi alongside Sister Lisa He took me out in the mountains during the afternoon, and we had to make it back before dark. Flare had started training in the arts of Qi. Qi wasn't an easy art to master for me, I would struggle. But then I thought of another way of using Qi, my firepower. I had thought of using my flames as an example. That as the center of Qi. I was able master it in a certain time, due to my instincts. Not like more than a month. Just 3-4 weeks of training. Father Christopher also taught me how cook, and properly train in the art of swordsmanship." Flare thought.
After a week, Flare, who is now 17 years old, was at the village gait getting ready to depart. "You did a fine job. Now it's time to for you to head to the capital." the Priest said.
"Alright, I'll make sure I'll bring back more money than you could imagine." Flare said.
"While, you're at it, pick up some girls will ya?" the Priest asked.
"Father!" Sister said embarrassed.
"What, I was only joking!" the Priest teased.
"Sure you were." Flare thought sarcastically.
"Oh, there's one more thing." Sister gives Flare a Cross as a good luck charm. "It's a relic Cross. If you're ever in trouble, God will be there for you." Sister Lisa said.
"Thanks. It's time for me to get going." Flare said.
"Flare!" One of the girls called his name while running towards him.
"Are you really leaving... right now?" Air asked.
"Yes." Flare said.
"Please, I want to go with you!" Air yelled.
"Air! You can't!" Sister Lisa said.
"It's alright, Sister Lisa, I'll take care of it." Flare said. "I know you want to go, but it's too harsh out there for you. The world is a cruel place, and I know that no one has ever asked to be born." Flare said bending on one knee. "Look, I'm be back then less than a year, and I sure won't let anyone kill me. I promise." Flare said. "Have I ever lied to you?" Flare asked.
"N.. no." Air said depressed.
Flare then hugs her. "I promise I will be back, after I complete my mission, I'll come back for you." Flare openly blushed when she heard his words.
"Okay." Flare said.
"Now, I should be off. Until less than a year, so long." Flare said leaving.
"Give them hell, Flare!" Fal yelled.
"Fal, what your mouth!" Sister Lisa said.
"Becareful!" Luna yelled.
"Good luck. Flare." the Priest thought.
"Thanks, you guys. There's not a better family I could ask for." Flare thought while on his journey.
Author's Note : Hello everyone, this is my first story of Akame Ga Kiru.
I have decided to use an OC character in this story. I was inspired by another fictional character from a different series, so I decided to use this one. My character Flare was inspired by One PIECE's Portgas D. Ace, AKA Firefist Ace. Flare is the illegitimate son of Prime Minister Honest, which means that Syura is his half-brother. And he has Western Tribe blood like Mine. I tend to make Flare his own character different from Ace. For those who don't know, Qi is the Life Force of people and objects. Similar to Chakra. I had Flare learn Qi because I want him to become self-aware.
The Three girls named Air, Fal, and Luna are charaters in Akame Ga Kiru, they have a brief chapter 23.5 and briefly appeared on episode 24 during the celebration. I decided to give the girls bigger roles than what they had in the series.
I've watched the entire series of Akame Ga Kill and noticed their were no fire Elemental-Type Imperial Arm to match against Esdeath's ice-type Imperial Arm, so I created one. We all know that Ice and Fire are polar opposites. I also noticed they said there were 48 Imperial Arms in total, but they have not discovered all 48 of them.
