"Harry, I think you should have this," Ginny said as she handed Harry an envelope. Harry opened the envelope and inside was a letter addressed to him which read:
"My dear Harry,
I instructed Ginny to give you this letter in case I can no longer be by your side to tell you myself. This letter contains the things that I had been longing to tell you for months since our marriage.
First, I would like to tell you how sorry I am for forcing you into this marriage. I know that you're already tired of people telling you what to do. I know, in my heart, that I am one of them.
I would also like you to know how much I love you. I loved you as my best friend when we were young and my love for you grew as the time passed by. I've always tried to get rid of these feelings because I knew that you could never reciprocate them but there was always a part of me hoping that one day you'll love me the way you love Cho.
I know that you've always wanted a family of your own but not with me, never with me. I would only like to ask you one thing. Please love our child. Don't let her feel that she's unwanted. Please don't despise her because she was borne by the wrong mother. Give her the love that she deserves.
Hermione"
Harry's tears flowed freely as he carefully placed the letter back in the envelope. He longed to tell Hermione his response to her letter but he may never have the chance to do so.
