Title- Missing You.
Disclaimer- I don't own it, if I did I most probably wouldn't be posting this on here.
Rating- K
Summery- Inspired by Grey's Anatomy and the many elevator scenes. This is set some point in season 5, I think, but not necessarily.
Authors Note- First NCIS Fan Fiction posted, but not the first one I've written. Hope you like it.

Jenny Shepard walks into the elevator and stands near the front. The doors closes and she can feel Leroy Jethro Gibbs standing behind her. She stands in front of him, not next to him like she normally does. Jenny leans forwards and flicks the emergency stop. For a moment she just stands in her original position.
"I miss you." She says eventually.
"What?" Gibbs asks carefully.
"I miss you." She says again, she continues before he can say anything else. "I missed you after I left you in Paris. I missed you when I became Director. I missed you when you went to Mexico." She sighs "And I still miss you now…"
Gibbs moves forwards so he catches the sent of her hair. "You see me all the time now, Jen."
"… I miss us." Jenny says as though she hadn't heard Jethro. "And what makes me miss it all even more is that we … You and me, can never be 'you and me' again."
"Who's fault is that." Gibbs says softly. He knows that she finds it hard to be the strong person that the agency needs her to be. That sometimes the softer, hurt side has to come out. The side that used to come out when they were lying in bed together in the dead of night.
"Its all my fault." Jenny manages to get out, sounding as though she may break down. She flicks the elevator back on and waits for it to stop.
"I miss you too." Jethro says just before the doors open. Jenny takes a second and then walks out towards her office.
