What it was like to look forward from one day to the next...Or perhaps, I never knew to begin with.

We lived in a world where we had to fight just to survive. Secretly wondering if we would ever be accepted, to be treated as more than just a rabid animal.

More than anything though... I was afraid. Afraid to live... to die. To be forgotten. If I were accepted by this seemingly wonderful world...

Would I even be me anymore?
