Similar style to The Ballad of Curley's Wife. Complete and utter silliness and needless to say I own neither L. Frank Baum nor Will Smith.
Dorothy's Ditty
Now this is a story all about how
My house flew right off of the ground
This might take a minute
Sit right here because
I'll tell ya how it is I became the hero of Oz.
In west of Kansas born and raised
In the farmyard was where I spent most of my days
Chillin' out relaxin' feelin' so-so
Doin' chores and walkin' my dog (Toto)
When the witch of the East who was up to no good
Started makin' trouble in my neighbourhood
There was one big cyclone and the house flew off
And landed smack bang in the middle of Oz.
I stepped out of the house and said "Oh jeez!"
It had landed right on top of the Witch of the East
If anything I could say she reaped what she sowed
But I thought "Nah forget it: To the Yellow Brick Road!"
I set off on my journey at seven or eight
And I yelled to the munchkins "So long, smell ya later!"
I took a look around; for it sure was pretty
Then I set off on my journey to Emerald City.
