I read the pages of my Holy Book

Every once in awhile, we all take a look

Into the mystery of a world unknown

At emotions and actions today aren't shown

And in exploring my treasure

I read something that brings me pleasure

Something I had been told wasn't in here

Something that brought to my heart a tear

But I looked for myself, dear friend who doesn't read

And that scripture gave me something I need

An uplifting and a reason to rejoice

A sense of happiness, a song in my voice

So I say to you, yes you right here

The Word tells me, my future I will no longer fear.
