I gently touch the dress, as if it will crumble from the slightest of movements. A tear travels down my face as I remember that fateful day, "Tuck in your tail, little duck," I say quietly sucked into the past. A sob escapes my lips and more tears cover my face. The door to the closet clicks and two strong arms circle my body.

"Katniss, are you ready?"

I wipe the tears from my face and nod, "Yes I'm ready."

Peeta kisses me gently on my cheek and grabs my hand. He guides me to the door, out to where our children sit and wait. Everything is prepared; a blanket sits on the ground food spread about. The children look up at me smiling. The past is pushed from my mind as I think about how we will never go through that again. I smile back and they run to me, hugging me close. Their eyes so much like Prims, staring up at me. A small tear tries to escape my watering eyes. I blink them away. I look to Peeta and he smiles at me. This is my present, and that was my past.
