Okay this is very short and there isn't much to it. Basically I got an idea, wrote it all down, realized there was no way it would work, cut it down, and this is what I got.
Pleashipping Mahaad/Isis
Thick tan arms held the sleeping figure close. She lay in his arms, safe from the danger that had once plagued them both. Black hair splayed out across both the man and woman, it's captor laying to the side. Her hand laid gently on his chest.
He traced the line of her jaw lovingly. Soft words escaped his lips.
"You knew what would happen. You could have stopped me. A few words, and this wouldn't have happened. But you didn't. I used to wonder why.
"If you hadn't, what might have happened? We might have saved the world anyways. We could have grown old together, let what was between us flourish. When I was younger I would picture a successful home, with children and a loving wife. As I grew older, that loving wife, became you. Things would have been perfect.
"But things could not have been that way, could they? Our duty came between us, changed everything. I choose to serve a different way then you did. If I had chosen the way you did, I'm not sure the world could have been saved. I used to wonder why you didn't stop me, but I think I know. You knew I needed to take that path. That was my destiny, and nothing could have changed that. Trying would have only made it worse.
"The truth is Isis, I love you. I always have. I will always. It is too late, but it has not lost meaning. I love you Isis. I love you."
The Dark Magician spared one last loving gaze for his hidden love before he faded back into what would be his home for the next 5,000 years.
