Thalia walked in the dining hall and looked nervous. Everyone immediately hushed as it looked like she was about to make an announcement, and if you knew Thalia, you would shut up before she started talking or risk getting fried to a crisp for 'interrupting.' Plus this must be really important since the Hunters of Artemis rarely visited camp anymore except for this week, and even during visits they didn't usually walk into the dining hall.
She looked around to see everyone staring at her. Even Grover was too nervous to speak, holding a piece of tin can halfway to his mouth, open wide to take the final bite.
"Well? Keep doing your stuff!" Thalia quickly tried to exit again. Percy grabbed her wrist before she could.
"Look, we all know that you wouldn't come here unless there was a really good reason. What do you have to say?" Thalia sighed, and then said the shocking news.
"I'm pregnant."
Silence.
"WHAT?" Annabeth rushed to her side. "Who is it?"
"How long have you known?"
"Where did this happen?"
"How did this happen?" Rachel smacked Travis on the head and then started barraging Thalia with her own questions.
Connor Stoll smirked. "Artemis is going to be really pissed…"
"SHUT UP!"
"How did you know?" Annabeth asked. Thalia held up a pregnancy test. It was positive. When Annabeth saw it, she turned pale.
"So…who is it?" Nico tried to force the answer out of Thalia. She sighed yet again, but this time in annoyance.
"The person whose name I say is the person who…well, you know the rest." Everyone waited eagerly.
"Thalia, sweetie, I, um, may have accidentally ran over all the hunting bows when I parked my car…apparently Artemis wants me to pick you and the girls up again while she goes to some 'private business'." Apollo strolled in, looking a little scared of Thalia's reaction.
"What…APOLLO! What did you do this time? I swear, if you keep on damaging everything we own, I will personally-"
THUD. Half of the Great Hall fainted from the shock. Percy was one of them. Thalia looked around in surprise, and then realized what just happened. She chuckled, then starting laughing big time.
"Ha-I can't believe you guys-hahhaha-actually-oh my gods-fell for that! APRIL FOOLS! Oh my gods…I never meant for THAT to happen!" Everyone was still too stunned or stupid to move. Nico started laughing nervously.
"Um…Thalia? If you aren't pregnant then where did you get that test?"
Thalia looked at the pregnancy test she held in her hands. "Oh, this? I found it in the waste basket of one particular cabin bathroom. It was quite surprising, actually."
Annabeth started coughing. Maybe this will be a good time to tell everyone the news…
"Guess what everyone!" Should I really do this? "I'm not pregnant!" Oops, I did it…
They stared at her. "Of course you aren't, Annabeth. Unless…"
"April Fools!"
Silence yet again. THUD. Percy Jackson, slayer of multiple monsters, who saved Mt. Olympus from destruction, fainted two times in the same hour.
