It was a stormy night at the Iwatodai Dorms. A few weeks after Mitsuru lost her father and everything settled down, the team went to sleep, not wanting to go that night to Tartarus. However sometime after midnight (and the dark hour) Mitsuru's door was knocked a few times. The redhead groaned as she begrudgingly gets off bed and walks to her door, opening it up.
She's surprised to see a somewhat crying Yukari in her pajamas "…Yukari" she yawns a bit "What's wro-?!" she's shocked when she feels the brunette wrap her arms around her and place her head on her chest, sobbing a bit "Mitsuru…" the redhead quickly assesses the situation and hugs the girl back "What happened Yukari…?" she spoke softly to her, gently caressing the brunette's hair to calm her down.
"N-…Nig-Nightmare…" she whispered "I…" she couldn't even form the words. Mitsuru figured it must have been something horrible. She quietly closes the door and walks the brunette to the bed, where they both sit down and Yukari holds Mitsuru dear, as if she was afraid she'd lose her "Yukari…" she spoke her name in worry, gently caressing her cheek "Do you want to sleep here…with me?" she asked, getting the feeling that Yukari might not want to talk about whatever she witnessed in her nightmare.
She nods vigorously "Please…" Mitsuru smiles and nods "Very well…" she pushes the sheets away and leans down on the bed, Yukari doing the same and wrapping her arms around the redhead and settling on her chest. Her breathing seemed to wind down, and she calmed down as Mitsuru places an arm around her. "Mitsu…" Yukari whispered "You…you're not gonna go away…right…?" she asked, sniffing a bit and wiping her tears on Mitsuru's nightgown (she didn't mind).
Mitsuru chuckled, but shook her head "No Yukari…I'm not going anywhere…" the brunette tightened her grip, but seems to smile a bit "…Thank you…" she whispered and closed her eyes, feeling the redhead lips press against her forehead, she felt her fears just whisker away as she drifts off to dreamland. The Empress watches Yukari doze off, and smiles at the beauty next to her "…You are such an odd woman Yukari…but I wouldn't love you or want you any less for who you are…" she closes her eyes and drifts to sleep as well, now a bit warmer and cozier than before….
