"It's like you don't care, Wyatt! Look outside once in a while! The city is in flames and you're sitting up here in your castle pretending you're in control. This is insanity. I don't even know who you are anymore. My brother wouldn't let everything we stand for fall apart like this." Chris was finally speaking his mind for the first time in months. His emerald eyes flashed dangerously as he confronted his older brother.

"You talk like I'm a monster, Chris." Wyatt tone was strained but he managed to keep his register low and calm.

"You're acting like one. Do you have any idea how many innocents have been murdered by demons you supposedly control?" Chris had no such restraint and was yelling at the top of his voice; as if that would get the message through to his brother.

"Yes, Chris," Wyatt snapped back his cold blue eyes burning with anger. He slammed his phone down on the table in front of his brother, the only barrier between them. "I know exactly how many innocents have died."

Chris hesitated then glanced down the phone screen. His breath caught in his throat and his knees gave out from under him so that he sank into the fancy leather chair behind him. On the tiny luminescent display was a neat list of names, personal details, reason for the death and the demon responsible. Every few seconds another name appeared and the list shuffled down.

Wyatt continued relentlessly, "So don't say I don't care, Chris. I had to have that specially designed for me and everything. I even paid a dollar fifty to download it. If that's not caring I don't know what is." He paused then added contemplatively. "Mind you they weren't kidding when they said they could make an app for anything. They also cleared up my acne quite nicely. Gotta love technology."

Chris blinked slowly trying to wrap his head around this new development.

"Your phone has an apocalypse app?" He finally managed to choke out.

"It has a really great camera too." Wyatt grinned back at him.

"I... I... don't understand this... It hurts my head..." Chris stuttered.

"Oh! They have an app for that too." Wyatt cut Chris off in his excitement.

Suddenly a small red light blinked on the side of the sleek phone. Wyatt snatched it up instantly and slid out the QWERTY keyboard.

"Oh, Michael tagged me in his status." Wyatt informed his stunned brother. Then he grinned suddenly as he read it. "It says. 'AGHHHH Demons are attacking!'" Wyatt chuckled to himself under his breath. Then, clearly pleased with himself, decided firmly. "I'm going to 'like' that."

Inspired by me entirely futile quest to buy a new phone (requirement of a really great camera too).

Sorry that's just been kicking round in my head for ages and refusing to let me write anything else so I figured I'd stick it up here. Let me know what you think... as always, reviews cost so little and mean so much, and I'll even give you a virtual cookie for your time. Hope you liked it and thanks for reading :D
