Flickering waters surrounding me

Nature relinquishing that not her own

Memory rising from the silent sea

Claiming man's for man again to see

Hearing the intruded waters groan

Flickering waters surrounding me

Battles forgotten with relics the key

Only oceans know what remains as bone

Memory rising from the silent seas

Refusing to let lost history be

Raising up what Nature claimed as stone

Flickering waters surrounding me

Lifted from that watery grave be free

Grace the world with what can be known

Memory rising from the silent sea

Ancient glory returned from depths of the sea

Risen bark know again living mans' tone

Flickering waters surrounding me

Memory rising from the silent sea

I apologize to anyone who is digusted with me for putting this poem in the Cats Musical Category. I love the musical, but I really wanted someone to read my poem and was too impatient to wait for my fictionpress account to activate. If you are not too disgusted with me a review would be much appreciated. Thanks,
