Harima sighed to himself. He was sitting in the front of the school yard watching Tenma talk to Rich Girl and a bunch of her other friends. He wished he could have some kind of sign. Some sign that would tell him that she would be his forever. He reached down and picked a flower. He sniffed the flower, wondering when exactly had he become some hopeless romantic. Dropping the flower quickly before someone saw, he glanced back over to Tenma. She didn't even notice, but just kept talking to the weird girl. He sighed once more, but this sigh was more out of frustration. Suddenly he saw a movement in the corner of his eye. He braced himself, for surely it was some guy wanting a fight, but never felt a single punch. He opened his eyes to see a beautiful black butterfly with long sleek antenne. Wow, that butterfly sure looked like it had Tenma's black hair and squirley pigtails. He watched the butterfly for a second, then an idea hit him. This was his sign! If he caught this butterfly, that looked like Tenma, he would also catch Tenma's heart and she would be his forever. He slowly reached for the insect, but it dodged right when he tried to cup his hand.

"HEY! Come back here you!" He complained as he began chasing the freaking bug all over the school yard. No matter what he did the butterfly would get away! Finally, the butterfly rested upon a flower. Harima scrunched up, hunting cat style, then lunged. He grabbed ahold of the insect and refused to let go. He took a second to catch his breath, and when he did he tried to peek into his hands to see if it was alright. As if in slow motion, the butterfly slipped between his fingers and fluttered off. Harima watched in complete silence... until...

"WHY YOU FREAKIN' INSECT! I SHOULD'VE SQUASHED YOU THE INSTANT I SAW YOU! ARG! CURSE ALL ANIMAL LIFE! I HATE ANIMALS! I HATE FREAKIN' BUTTERFLIES! I HATE MY LIFE!" Harima screamed at the top of his lungs making many people run away, afraid of being on the end of his wrath. Harima felt pure rage coming from inside him when...

"You shouldn't say that," a voice said from behind him. He turned to see Tenma. She was looking at him with sadness in her eyes. "You shouldn't say that because if you hate your life, than you will be sad. And I don't like you when your sad." She said innocently. Harima felt his stomach churn. He wanted to give her a hug. He just wanted to squeeze her into a big bear hug! And he would to, if he could ever get this feeling in his chest and stomach to go away. It was like having being on stage and having, as its often called, "stomach butterflies". Harima frowned. Stomach... BUTTERFLIES...?

That day, Tenma ran all the way to the nurses office, wondering what in the whole wide

world made Harima punch himself in the stomach.
