Why Sirius Black is not a good boy.
Why Remus Lupin wasn't exactly happy.
Remus Lupin was once again alone. There were actually several reasons why he was hiding at the top of the Astronomy tower watching sunset. In the middle of January. Only in his sweater.
Part of him, of course, adored the lovely view. All the beautiful colors spread over the horizon doubled as they mirrored on the calm surface of the lake deep beneath him. It was truly romantic sight.
But bigger part him questioned every decision he's ever made that led him to this mess. He was still breathing hard because of all the running. The sweat on the back of his neck let the cold slip inside of him and soon he was shivering.
This whole situation was just another prove that Remus Lupin was too kind for his own good. And that having Sirius Black for a best friend isn't as magical as it sounds.
As the sun lowered and vanished he crumbled. Leaning with his back on the ice-cold stone wall with knees close to his chest something shiny fell out of his pocket.
Remus took it and sighted. Damn you Sirius Black and all your inner demons too. He gave it a good look. It was solid and surprisingly heavy for such a small thing. Examining the engraving on the front and back, he flipped the lighter open and struck it. Small fire popped up and provided merciful warmness for his hands. How could he think of it any different than his most treasured possession, when it was given to him by none other than Sirius Black? That's why he had to protect it from the dog no matter what!
He played with the fire. Literally. Burning his fingertips, a little above the small but fierce source of heat. It was actually a good metaphor for Sirius himself. He was also so dangerous and harming yet so appealing and life without him was impossibly cold.
Remus recalled the conversation they had several weeks ago:
"Again, Sirius? You promised!" it was the first thing Remus said in the morning, when reeking smell of cigarettes woke him up.
"Shit," he heard a few quick steps and whisper swearing. The window creaked and soon the room was filled with freezing wind.
"Noo, my blanket ate my pillow," James murmured from his bed completely exposed, with duvet tangled around his ankles, shaking.
"See what you're doing?" Remus sighted and stood up. He walked to Sirius to close the window, but he noticed that the cigarette was still burning slowly between his fingers. He wasn't listening again. His silver eyes just watched the clouds blindly as he took a deep breath. The smoke danced in the room and eventually flew away from the window spinning and disappearing.
"Sirius?" Remus put hand on his shoulder. No respond.
Remus was getting quite annoyed. He was freezing to death just in his shirt and boxers next to reeking Sirius who ignored him. And he promised he would end this! Desperate times calls for desperate measures, so he just grabbed the cigarette from his hand and took a puff.
Remus wasn't sure what point was he trying to make, but soon as his throat was filled with burning smoke he knew, it failed. He started coughing which really wasn't as graceful as he hoped it to be, and surprising lack of oxygen filled his head with throbbing pain.
"Am I dreaming or am I dreaming? Remus Lupin just stole my cigarette?" finally Sirius payed some attention to him. Remus's face was flooded with blush – partly because he was kind of suffocating and partly because he was embarrassed. Of course, he was. It was Sirius.
"Just shut it and get rid of this bloody thing!" he lost his temper.
"Wow Moony, got up with wrong paw I assume?" Sirius backed away from him with huge smile.
"Though it may be good, because this day – EVERYONE LISTEN! THIS DAY SHALL BE REMBEBRED AS THE DAY WHEN REMUS LUPIN FINALLY HIT THE REBELTY!" he started to shout. It startled Peter so much he fell from his bed and with confusion began to ask: "What? What? I wasn't cheating, mom!" And James just lazily rolled on his bed and whispered: "Oh no, pillows are mad, the great feather war is near," and then continued to snore.
Remus was fighting laughter.
"Rebelty?"
"You know, rebel and puberty? Thought it was pretty self-explanatory." Sirius shrugged.
"What happened? And why is Remus smoking?" confused Peter sat back to his bed not entirely sure what is happening.
Remus quickly smashed the cigarette on the parapet, remembering what got him so upset in the first place.
"You're idiots! Every single one of you!" He pointed his finger at very confused Peter, very laughing Sirius and very sleeping James. Despite his amusement he couldn't forgive Sirius this easily and he stormed out to the bathroom. His throat was all icky a scratchy and he needed water. Seriously, how could Sirius smoke this rubbish?
Few second after his dramatic exit he heard footsteps approaching. Sirius's messy bed head carefully peeped behind the door.
"Just making sure you're not pissing."
"How charming."
"I know, charming is my… what? Sixth name?" Sirius grinned and snuck into the bathroom. He closed the door after him, leaving the two of them alone. Remus turned his back to him making sure he'll get the message by crossing his arms.
He heard Sirius sigh. Soon his arms sneaked around Remus's shoulders gently unknotting his hands.
"Moony, don't be mad at me," Sirius whispered somewhere behind Remus's ear.
Remus shivered, and it was his turn to sigh. He was blushing, his heart skipping a beat when he felt amazingly warm Sirius behind him. How could he managed to stay so hot even after standing by an open window? Not that standing by a window would made his sex-appeal suddenly drop, that would be strange even for Sirius, who would have to avoid standing by the windows and staring in the dark for the rest of his life, cause Remus was sure that his friend wouldn't be able to face the fact that just some random hole in a wall is making him look not only undesirable but what is worse – average. And Everyone knew that Sirius Black would never settle just for average. No, he was always top. Well, Remus of course had no way of knowing for sure, if Sirius was always on top. He just assumed because of Sirius's sadistic tendencies and his manipulative behavior and he wasn't really thinking and imagining Sirius during sex at all. Like totally no. Not ever.
He still couldn't wrap his head around how Sirius managed to turn not only every conversation, but every thought Remus ever had to himself. Remus sighed again.
"Two sighs? TWO SIGHS?! OH NO, Moony! What did I do, to deserve TWO SIGHS?" he shook Remus hysterically. Sirius' overly dramatic acting left Remus with no other option then just laugh. And then pretend it was cough.
"You know very well what you did! Don't even try to deny it! You betrayed my trust and made me smoke and opened a window and didn't even tried to sneak out!" Remus finally faced him, trying his best not to laugh. Sirius' eyes were sparkling. Remus loved the cheeky grin on Sirius' face. He was falling for his stupid performances and his stupid humor and his stupidly confident attitude and his certainty that Remus will always forgive him.
"How silly of me! If I had known! If I had the slightest idea that the only thing I had to do was sneaked out for a smoke! We wouldn't have to argue in front of our unborn children." Sirius uttered theatrically hiding his face in his hands.
Remus giggled.
"But seriously, Pads, you promised."
The way in which Remus said those words made Sirius looked at him immediately and stop fooling around. He had almost guilty expression. "I know." He whispered. It did trouble him, he broke a naïve trust Remus had in him. He reached in his pocket and took the lighter out.
"Take this. And don't give it to me no matter how hard I beg," he placed the steal cause of all this in Remus's palm, "Or threaten. Or curse." He added with his casual smiles.
"I don't really think it's a wise idea to burden your broken promise with yet another promise, Padfoot." Remus looked critically at Sirius.
"I don't see any problem as long as you'll be capable to say no to me," Sirius
"Precisely."
"Oh, so you can't say no to me?"
"Now that you know I have to kill you."
Both started laughing, Sirius ruffling Remus' hair. They exchanged gentle looks.
"How sweet. Can you, please, move so that poor in need can use the bathroom too?" yawing James opened the door and without hesitation started to pull down his pants.
"WOW! James! Have a little dignity!" Remus screamed and covered his eyes.
"Yeah James! Thank you for the nightmares, mate!" Sirius added, and both blindly reached for the door.
So what advice could Remus take from this experience? Never wake up. Or never speak with Sirius alone. Or never look at James again. Or that strange things seem to happen, when you try to get Sirius stop smoking. Yeah. Something like that.
His thumb gently traced the engraving, which was just bunch of abstract circles and spirals, and rested his head on his other forearm. Remus struck the lighter again and watch the flame. Thinking about his friends. Remus really watched himself and whenever Sirius popped in his head he added James and Peter to the picture. It was particularly hard to think about naked Sirius when others were there too. And that was the main reason he started doing it.
He was quite bothered with these feelings, that kept lingering inside him, making him blush and leaving him bubbling like some kind of idiot. Mostly because Sirius was such a good friend to him. He was exceptionally kind and understanding and always trying to make him laugh and Remus simply couldn't risk it. It was the first time he had any friends and frankly speaking he was rather amazed by how long it lasted.
They were now in their sixth year. It was still like a dream to have these mates even after all the pranks and detentions and with Remus being werewolf and stuff. Really. Whenever he remembered that they actually studied how to become Animagus for him, just so he won't be different from them, (well, at least not so much) he had urge to cry. Remus would never dare to imagine having these friends. They were more important than anything in his life and nothing else mattered as long as they were together.
That was the main reason why he didn't want to destroy it. With some feelings he was sure he can cherish and appreciate alone.
The other reason was that Sirius was… well… to put it simply, he was a fuckboy. Merely thinking about that word made Remus blush as he normally didn't say anything vulgar. But it was true. He loved chasing and capturing birds too much to be with just one person. Remus may be naïve, but he certainly isn't stupid enough to hope that Sirius would change that.
Next reason was that he wasn't entirely sure of the depths of his friend's understanding. I mean, forgive him for being werewolf is one thing, but acknowledge that he's gay and is fancying one of them would be probably too much. Even for them.
So once a while Remus came in here to think about his life, about the meaning behind it, about his future and about the time when they leave Hogwarts and his heart will be once again broken. Sometimes it was too painful to acknowledge the inevitable future.
And sometimes he was just hiding here because Sirius demanded his lighter.
Since he stopped smoking, he smelled really nice, and had nicer fingernails and all, but also, he was getting hysterical. And not for fun. He was often stressed and easy to burst with anger, his pranks were mostly just mean, and his comments weren't sarcastic and light-hearted.
Remus did the math and it was in his own interest to avoid him. Because Sirius was getting ridiculous with his precious cigarettes missing.
Like last week when he snapped at Remus.
"You're not doing that. Tell me, you're not seriously considering the possibility of doing that." Sirius was watching his friend with angry glare. It was more than obvious he was in a bad mood.
"What now?" Remus sat on his bed with a tired sigh and massaged the bridge of his nose.
"You can't put your underwear in the shirt drawer."
"What?"
"Everyone knows, that shorts go with socks."
"And why is that?"
"So, you don't accidentally try to put on boxers in the morning?" James assumed.
"How big part of your brain must be missing if you actually misunderstood your underwear for a shirt?" Remus gave his roommates skeptical look.
"Wait till morning and you find out," Sirius barked at him without any sing of joking, "lighter?" he reached out his hand and gave Remus a hopeful look.
"No."
"Fine, you Charles Dick- ens poof!" Then Sirius proceeded to hide in his bed for the rest of the evening not talking to anyone.
Or the other time when he was sitting with Remus in the library.
Remus wasn't that excited about it. Sirius hated it. They were basically nagging each other so neither of them could do their homework properly. Or to be more precise – Remus did his homework and Sirius did his insanely long essay on the topic: How to behave properly in the transfiguration class.
What exceptionally annoyed Remus was Sirius' shaking leg.
"Could you stop?"
"What?"
"Stop shaking that leg! You'll making an earthquake!"
"Don't blame your five-year-old handwriting on me."
"Says someone who don't know how to write Q in cursive writing."
"Sod of, would you?"
"You can shut me, but you cannot shut the truth."
They sat next to each other often hitting the other with an elbow or shoulder. Remus was getting quite bothered. He missed his private talks with Sirius and the gentleness in their friendship. Now Sirius was just pissed at him, they didn't talk much except the never-ending fights and it was tiring.
After a moment of silence when Sirius looked at Remus' parchment and pointed out: "You forgot the second D in Riddikulus again," in whisper. Remus blushed and squeezed the letter in between the others making the word look ugly, so he ended up crossing it completely and writing it again.
"It was good enough, why did you blackened it?"
"It wasn't pretty and generally not satisfying; the whole word was just wobbly, and it upsets me."
"Because it's not perfect."
"Yes."
"Because you missed the D."
"Yes."
"I could've give you the D if you'd asked." Sirius was leaning on his hands, fist under his chin and his eyes burned with little demons in them. Remus blushed and couldn't think fast enough of a witty comeback, he just stared at Sirius speechless and gulped. Sirius started laughing for the first time in a week. It was oddly satisfying, and Remus suddenly didn't mind the joke was on him.
In that moment Lily popped from behind the shelf with a scream: "I know you're snogging in here!" with victorious expression and mad grin in her face.
Remus jumped on his chair, Sirius stopped laughing and his mood darkened again.
"What?"
"Remus? Really? Why didn't you tell me! I would've put my quill down," Sirius sarcastic remark left both Lily and Remus in deep embarrassment, "lighter?"
"NO!"
"You're just a bunch of wussies," Sirius got up and stormed out.
"I'm sorry, I didn't know…" Lily trailed off and sat beside Remus.
"It's okay. You couldn't've known he's on his period," Remus sighted and continued writing.
But the most preposterous incident was the one that happened this morning.
"Sirius what is that?" James's screams woke Remus up. He heard dark growl and sound suspiciously reminding him of tearing paper.
"Leave that! Bad dog! Bad BAD DOG!" Remus opened his eyes and saw two of them rolling on the floor and fight over something. Sirius was pissed and James looked mildly terrified.
"Seriously! When Remus finds out that you ate his-"
"What about me?" Remus lazily sat still snuggled in his blanket.
"Oh, hey Remus." James laughed panicking.
"Hey Moony," Sirius murmured.
"Sooooo… what was it about me?"
"It's nothing really!"
"Yeah, Prongs is just being childishly stupid."
"I am the one who's acting stupid? Look at what you've done!"
In that moment Remus discovered pieces of parchment all over the floor. But more importantly he recognized his handwriting.
"Wait! Is that mine?" he got on the floor and begun to recollect the pieces, putting them together.
"Sirius! That's mine essay what happened?"
Normally it would be hilarious when Sirius coughed part of the parchment on the carpet. In different circumstances. And with different essay.
"Are. You. Bloody. Kidding. Me?"
"Remus? Hey, it's not a big deal…"
"Sod off, James! And you too, Sirius! I can't believe it! You actually ate my homework! What's wrong with you? Why?"
"M-moony I…"
"Don't Moony me! I've had enough! You're being mean and hostile, and I don't get it!" the two looked at each other. It was a painful silence before Sirius finally said: "My mouth was lonely. It was stronger than me."
James began to laugh, Sirius didn't look at Remus at all and Peter was luckily still asleep.
"It's not my problem you can't hold your hormones when you're not smoking!"
"Well it's partly your fault too."
"Yeah?"
"Yeah! You made me quit!"
"Because it's good for your health! Because I care about you!" Remus looked angrily at his friends, throw his duvet on the floor and put a sweater on.
"It's hilarious go on!" James was laughing on his bed. Two sets of deadly stares shut him up.
"But for the past few weeks you were just unbearable! If you want your precious lung cancer that much, here you go!" Remus hit Sirius with the lighter and begin to run from the dorm. After few steps he turned around and picked the lighter again.
"You know what? You don't deserve this, you deserve to suffer," and with that he stormed out.
And now he was sitting, feeling like an idiot, skipped a whole day of school and all because he was trying to do something nice and right for Sirius.
Remus cupped his face and closed his eyes.
"I'm such a stupid stupid stupid."
"I agree," sudden voice scared him so much he maybe squeaked a little. It was very manly, of course. Manly squeak.
"Sirius, what you're doing here?" Remus asked confused but was met with silence.
Sirius' stormy eyes looked at him from above, his arms crossed on his chest. He looked frustrated. Remus wanted to say something else, but didn't get the chance, because Sirius leaned closer to him and kissed him. It was demanding and angry. His hand cupped Remus' face making him unable to flinch away. His tongue quickly found its way into Remus' mouth and the kiss got almost violent. Sirius bit Remus' lower lip strongly enough for Remus to moan in pain.
"What?" He breathed out before Sirius' lips were on his again. This time Remus' hands managed to get hold of Sirius' hair. He pulled them painfully pressing himself closer to him making Sirius growl into the kiss. The sound sent shivers down Remus' spine. His heart was about to explode, and the kiss was suddenly over.
He opened his eyes and looked at Sirius not sure when he closed them in the first place.
"My mouth was lonely again." Sirius said like it just explained everything. And before could Remus compose himself enough to at least close his mouth Sirius was gone.
Remus sat there on the top of the astronomy tower for a good hour or so. He was completely frozen but also bewildered. His lips were still tingling from the kisses and he just couldn't.
It was definitely a bad idea to make Sirius quit smoking.
So it happened that whenever Sirius claimed his mouth was lonely, he just snogged the life out of Remus. Some kisses were quite predictable.
For example, the one in the mornings. He woke Remus up in the silliest hours in the morning and said boy often fell asleep right after Sirius' appealing lips were gone. His lips were lightly touching Remus' one of his hands usually in Remus' hair. They were the softest and so sweet Remus still had problems to believe Sirius Black was capable of them.
Then there were the quick short kisses after meal. Just two or three quick pecks on lips on their way to classes. Sirius would shove against some wall and just quickly ravish him.
The evening kisses were the ones Remus loved the most. He was nervous when the time for them came and was looking for Sirius with obvious anticipation. However, Sirius never rushed those kisses. He built the atmosphere for these kisses cruelly slowly.
He would caress Remus' hand or thigh letting him know that soon will be time for them. He would get closer and closer before finally pressing his lip against Remus'. His tongue would lazily slip into Remus' mouth and Remus melted in Sirius' arms.
Those kisses quickly became passionate and Remus was silently moaning into Sirius' lips. They left him longing for Sirius and making him crazy for his touch. These made Remus forgot how to breathe and his heart was beating furiously in his throat.
At nights came the most unexpected kisses. They were hungry and angry. Possessive and unbearable. Their lips were swollen and painful after these. And yet they lasted the longest. Remus put all his repressed feelings into these kisses making sure Sirius understands how torturing this was. At nights Remus wasn't afraid to show how much he wanted Sirius and how much he loved him.
The other boys were surprisingly unmoved by the fact that Sirius was kissing Remus on daily basis. No condescending remarks, no jokes, no one really acknowledged it. Like it was the most normal thing to do. You just kiss Remus when you want to quit smoking, everybody knows that. No biggie.
It made Remus doubt if it was really happening or if it were just very convincing fantasies. Because for him, it indeed was a huge biggie. He was obsessing about it constantly. Because hello! Sirius bloody Black was kissing him!
And not only that! He was touching him more too. Just some quick hugs or hands resting on thighs, shoulders or backs. They were still talking pretty much all the time making James jealous.
Sometimes Sirius would call Remus into his bed and embraced him whilst sleeping.
If Remus didn't know better, he would have guessed he was dating Sirius? But this would actually open more questions than it answered.
It was going on for some time and Remus still couldn't cope. He was amazed how much of drama queen Sirius usually was but when it came to his mysterious feelings towards Remus, he was completely different. Protective and not talkative.
Remus was in paradise and in hell at the same time. Or maybe he was just super thick.
One morning about three weeks later this whole mess would be sorted out. And of course, it has to be thanks to a Revenclaw. Or more like thanks to a horny Ravenclaw girl who flirted with Sirius during breakfast and asked him to study with her.
Remus was annoyed, because he was pretty sure, that Sirius will go. And just the idea broke his heart. But something unreal happed. Something so shocking it caused James choke in his pumpkin juice, it caused Peter to throw his hands in the air in absolute disbelief with all the food he had in them, it caused Remus to spit his own tea.
"Sorry love, but I'm already taken." Sirius said like it was no big deal.
"WHAT?!" screamed the three other boys. All of them with eyes wide open while the tea, juice and pieces of scrambled eggs rained on them.
"What?" Sirius looked at them similarly surprised.
"How? When? Who?" all three shouted in unison still in deep shock.
"When I stopped smoking, about three weeks ago, you Remus." Sirius answered calmly while becoming obviously upset. He crossed his hands on his chest again and his expression got arrogant.
"WHAT?" the three yelled again.
"Seriously? We are… like dating now?" Remus couldn't believe this. He wiped his mouth and his heart was furious.
"What the fuck, Remus? Aren't you supposed to be the smart one?" Sirius raised his voice too and banged his hand on the table. All of them jumped.
"I thought he was just helping you quit smoking." James blabbered while Peter shouted: "YOU'RE GAY? WITH EACH OTHER?" and gestured abstractly in the air.
"You stupid pricks! I seriously can't believe you right now! Just like-! We're snogging all the time! And you-! I-! Just aargh!" Sirius ran a hand through his hair his cheeks were flushed. He shot up and left, sticking his middle finger in the air.
The three boys were sitting there in stunned silence.
"I have SO MANY questions!" Peter said bemused.
"Remus, did you know about this?" James asked.
"No. Yes. I…" Remus blabbed while he was still watching Sirius leave.
"Well, congratulations, I guess." Peter said.
"I should go after him, right?" Remus asked uncertainly. The other boys shook their heads in agreement.
"Oh yeah."
"Yep, definitely."
"Chop chop"
"Yeah off you go!"
Remus smiled and got up too. He left the Great hall looking for the familiar figure. He didn't see him anywhere in the crowds of students. Just when he decided he would go search somewhere else he felt well-known grip on his wrist.
Sirius dragged him through numerous corridors, up and down the stairs and Remus got the feeling like he was doing this on purpose, just to punish him with some unwanted exercise. He attempted to say something, but it seemed like Sirius wasn't interested. His fingers were crushing Remus' wrist. Remus was sure he would have bruises.
The finally stopped marching when they were completely alone in the corridor on the third floor. Sirius let go of Remus' hand just to shove him against near wall. He pinned him there with his body pressing himself closer. He studied Remus' face for a second before kissing him.
Remus was awaiting another fierce and angry kiss but this one was so gentle it made him week in his knees. Sirius' fingertips caressed his face and neck finding their way into Remus' hair. Remus' own hands roamed on Sirius' back pulling him in.
Remus' heart was out of breath the same way he was, when they parted. Remus reached out to kiss Sirius again, but he pulled back with a cocky smile. Remus smiled too and stuck out his tongue.
They kissed once more, and everything finally got in place in Remus' mind. It was still a bit surreal to see Sirius Black so embarrassed, but Remus understood now that he was in fact confessing his love when he said his mouth was lonely.
He understood how strongly Sirius felt when he kissed him again so softly. He was a fool for not seeing through him immediately. He understood why Sirius had to drag him through half of the school to find a place where they would be alone, because this was Sirius Black being vulnerable.
"Do you get it now, Moony?" Sirius growled into his ear and Remus smiled. He embraced Sirius and placed few kisses on his shoulder.
"I do."
"Good."
They were still hugging and touching and kissing and Remus felt he should say it too to avoid any more confusion.
"I love you, Sirius." Remus whispered into his ear and kissed it.
"Good." Sirius kept his face stoic, but his blushed cheeks gave him away. Remus was feeling ecstatic. Tons of worries and fears vanished, and Remus could breathe freely at last. He felt like he could just fly away if he wasn't touching Sirius. He giggled and then giggled some more.
"How did you know?" he was curious.
"Hey, come on. I'm Sirius Black." Sirius' confidence was back but Remus wasn't amused.
"Okay," Sirius sighed, "I risked it."
When they returned to the Great hall it was nearly empty. The rest of the gang was still there waiting for them.
"Here they are! My favourite power couple of the century!" James roared and laughed.
"How are we going to call them? Sirimus? Rerius? Moonpad?" Peter joined.
James' mind was so full of stupid jokes and puns he was shaking. He couldn't hold back any longer. He jumped on the table, kicking some leftovers from his was. He slowly danced to greet the two who looked at him like was crazy. Which was most certainly was.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, here is the star of today's evening! Mr. Siiiiiirius Blaaaaack!" he shouted, trying to copy the way Quidditch games were commented. "Stunning yet shy lad with a dating game so strong it you won't even notice it!" he continued, and Peter was hollering with the laughter. "Our next contestant Mr. Reeeeeemus Lupiiiiiin! Bloke so sure on his feet, he would snog you for a month and still act like noting was happening!"
"It was only three weeks." Remus' face was all red, but he had to laugh too.
"Sod off, James." Sirius said and sat at the table.
"That's what Remus said when he didn't get that you two are dating." Peter joined. He and James were both hysterical at this point. Remus was still smiling this whole situation getting closely familiar.
"So Remus, my deer, tell me," James sat cross-legged, still on the table, giggling at his own joke, putting one hand around Remus' shoulders. "Is there anything else you would want to share with the group? You know, just maybe drop a hint so we can make a fun game out of it? In case being all lupin and gay and stuff isn't enough. You know? You have any other surprises?"
Remus was still redder and redder looking anywhere but James. "Nope. Nothing comes to mind. No." he shook his head.
"Good, good. You know where to find us, just in case, you know, something popped your sherry," he sent knowing look at Sirius. Peter meanwhile died from lack of oxygen and was now just choking on the giggles and wheezing.
"And you, my mate, you would want to consider, you know for next time, maybe tell the person you fancy them, before you start assaulting them? I mean I'm no love expert myself, but I was told that is the standard procedure." James crawled next to Sirius who wasn't having fun.
"Lighter?" Sirius growled at Remus visibly annoyed. He completely ignored James who was now theatrically grabbing his robes on his chest pretending to have broken heart.
"NO." Remus shook his head. Sirius frowned at them and got up.
"Pussies." He said before he left.
Remus laughed. James was laying on the table having last dreadful cramps before he finally died. Peter was still catching his breath. Everything was back to normal and he was glad.
Sirius came back for a moment. He leaned down and kissed Remus. No, that's not the right word. He relished him. There was no hesitation, nothing slow about it. Sirius pressed his lips hard against Remus' and pushed his tongue in his mouth.
Peter and James watched it for a second both getting embarrassed and awkward.
"Get a room you two!" James shouted and dramatically covered up his eyes.
"Yeah! Eeeww!" Peter had to turn his back to them hiding his red face.
Remus' answered the kiss in the same fashion not minding the other two. His hands found Sirius' shoulders and hair and he pulled himself up and closer to him, arching away from the chair. He bit Sirius' lower lip playfully and licked the place devouring the kiss as well. They snuck a quick deep breath their forehead touching before snogging one more time. Soft moans escaped Remus' throat and he felt Sirius smile. Then came on, two, three more kisses and he pulled away. Remus let out a breath of laughter and opened his eyes. Sirius gave him the sexiest smile he has ever seen.
He shot up from his chair, taking Sirius' hand, letting him lead the way to their bedroom.
Correction #1 Almost everything was back to normal.
Correction #2 Forcing Sirius to stop smoking was the best idea he ever had.
