A/N: Hello, all. I wanted to write this for a friend, and an uprising new pairing community. This is my first drabble attempt, as I find it EXTREMELY hard to write short things. I just, really like detail so most of my stories tend to be long. So anywho, 'nuff rambling.
Dis: Naruto belongs to Masashi kishimoto-sama, and in no way do I make money for this.
Warning: Shonen-Ai
Red Dawn Rush
He couldn't remember every little detail about the first encounter they'd had; but he could remember it was over ramen. Perhaps, it was Naruto instead, for the young man seemed to have a way of bringing people together.
Soon it became more than coincidental that the two of them would meet in the same place, at the same time. Striking conversations, spending a few more minutes pass lunch breaks, not wanting to end a conversation; yet only to pick up at the very same place the next time they'd meet.
It became obvious to both, when they began to plan times to meet. Times they could plan to spend alone. Times, precisely, they could spend with one another.
Red Dawn Rush: Three A.M. A time their hearts would pace. The thumping so loud, they were sure the other heard. The feeling of the beating against their chest, as it grew tighter and tighter. Adrenaline was high, and it wasn't because of any missions or dangers.
Red Dawn Rush: Dead of Night. A time only a tiny fraction of their vast village dare to stir. Where a hilltop in vast view could give you away to waken, and give the most serene view of the stars in the sky. In which the excitement of being spotted was always present, but the risk was always low.
Red Dawn Rush: Hour of Lust. A time that brought faces a flush. Inhibitions cast aside, and two became one in an act of passion, love and sexuality. Together they were; together they'd wished to be. Together they still were, for holy matrimony.
It was nearing three a.m. yet again, this pleasantly warm evening. He gazed at the stars peacefully, quietly. He knew full well he'd not be alone much longer. In fact, he could hear the other man's steps through the soft grass now, and turned to him with a smile.
He received a smile in return. No words were necessary at this time. They both knew what it meant to them, and they both understood the magic of this hour. So it was with still quiet gentleness between them, that Tenzou dropped lightly to the ground and lye on his back, while Iruka rolled over to snuggle against him and Tenzou brought his arm over Iruka and held him close. They watched the stars for the hour.
