Scattered Thoughts Of A Comatose Civilian Pilot
By Sarina-chan

I loved you once in silence,
My untouchable hero.
Though we knew so little of each other,
I couldn't help but understand.
We are more alike then you know.

Bullets sang as the war continued.
I was foolish then,
with my borrowed ideals.
You saved me more than I ever saved you that day.

Since then,
I have followed you faithfully.
Even when you left to continue your battle,
I eventually caught up to you.

Thank you for your concern
When I was injured in action.
It means more to me than you realize.

I hope,
When this is all over,
You will come back to me,
My unreachable dark angel.

I hope,
When you do,
You will love me almost as much as I have loved you.

Author's Note:
See if you can guess who's talking hehe...

God, I haven't written poetry in years! I was once really good. I've been published three times in the National Poetry Societies poetry books in the National Library of Congress, but I lost the gift for a long time. I hope it's some what near that calibur hehe. Please tell me if it is.
