Still Not Over You
Prologue
"Give me one f*ckin reason why i should stay!
He was stunned at my outburst. He just stood there, without saying a word as the shock registered on his face.
This was more than I could handle. I knew the reason why he couldn't answer. There were no reasons for me to stay, not even one. All the reasons I had gathered before had now vanished into thin air. And I knew that the only thing I could do was walk away not just from this place, but from the person who once made my life so complete, from the memories, from them, from him.
And so I turned my back from him and started to walk away. As I walked, it dawned on me that every step I took meant no more turning back. No more second chances. Every step was getting heavier and I wished I could just disappear right now. Everything was a blur and my mind had slowed down to even think something rational. My heart had remained silent for a while now.
Just then I heard him say,
"Because I like you."
