I Lied
When I was young,
She almost died
It was because of me
The one day I lied
My parents left
Her care to me
But the park was my goal
A soccer champ to be
"She seemed ok
Really she did"
The sickness she felt
She hid it amid
Until one game
I taught her to kick
She fouled up the ball
And fell down real sick
My mom yelled at me
and she started to cry
My sister was ill
And about to die
She came home one day
and looked me in the eye
She said she was sorry
Then she waved good bye
She never thought
My fault it could be
She thinks about others
She thinks about me
So now I'v grown
She's right by my side
I learned something back then
"I'll take care of her" I lied.
