Imogen's POV

I am sitting on a rocking chair near the fireplace, it is winter, I look at the antique grandfather's clock at the corner and it is already 11 o'clock in the evening. The winter air is already piercing cold so I prefer to stay by the fireplace to warm myself and the baby I am holding in my arms. She is sleeping peacefully in the warmth of my embrace. She looks exactly like her mother, my wife and soulmate Fiona. She has blue eyes like a pool of sapphire, flawless china doll skin and a dimple on both her cheeks but by the looks of it, her hair maybe dirty blonde, a feature she may inherit from her biological father whom we never know because she came from some confidential sperm donor. I don't want to let go of her just yet, she is sleeping in my arms for more than an hour now yet I don't feel like putting her to bed. I heard footsteps approaching from behind, then someone squeezed my shoulder and gently place a kiss on top of my head.

"You should get her to bed honey, I can see that you are already tired." Fiona said while brushing my shoulders with her free hand because the other hand is holding a cup of hot choco.

"Its OK baby, I am still loving the company of little Vicky here." We name our first baby Victoria because our first attempt to conceive a child was a complete failure unfortunately, Fiona had a still birth. I was suppose to carry the baby but Fiona insists so the birth of Victoria is a great victory on our part that she actually made it inspite of Fiona's sensitive condition while she was carrying our baby.

"She is very beautiful, it looks like I am actually carrying you in my arms instead." I said while giggling and Fiona giggled with me.

"We did it Immy, we are now a family." Fiona said with a sweet smile on her face and then she sits at the sofa facing the fireplace as well.

I slowly stand up from the chair and Fiona tried to assists me, i sit beside her and lean to her. "I love you baby, I told you I believe you can always do everything."

Fiona put her arms around my shoulders and pulled me near by her side, I dropped my pair of rabbit head flip flops on the floor, raised my legs on the sofa, lean unto her side then rest my head on her shoulders. I am really happy that our baby spends her first birth month on Christmas eve, with our baby in my arms and Fiona by my side, the warmth of their love is home. After 10 minutes in that position while Fiona is making circles on my hair, we hear the bell hanging on the Christmas tree ringing.

"Do you hear that Immy? It is the sound of a Christmas angel, our precious baby has a guardian angel afterall." Fiona said base on the Christmas classic movie that I cannot remember the whole title.

"I'm glad." I turn sideways and reach for her lips then we kiss passionately for a while. We pulled apart when little Vicky cried so Fiona and me get up from the sofa and went straight to the nursery to put our baby back to sleep. I am always happy with Fiona although we did have our fair share of ups and downs but right now, I never felt more alive that there is a new addition to our family and I am still planning for more. I hope Fiona will agree to seven.

End...
