A/N- Ok, please don't make fun of my story, cuz I've never been to New York, I've never seen the tree in Rockafeller Center, and I have no idea when they put it up or take it down! So please, please don't leave me mean reviews chewing me out cuz I wrote something wrong! And yes they are suppose to be upper class boys, but I like their accents in the movie, so I'm keeping them! Oh, and I don't own Newsies, Disney does.

*The first year there was a tree in Rockafeller Center*
One cold December day, five teenage boys stood in front of a giant Christmas tree in the middle of Rockafeller Center. The boys had just gotten out of school and were looking for something to do before going home. Spot, Jack, David, Mush, and Kid Blink were best friends at their private school in Manhattan. Each boy came from a wealthy family, and had a lot excepted of them in the following year. They would each be graduating at the end of the year, and were dreading college. That day though, Spot came up with an idea for some fun. Being upper class boys, the other four decided to follow him to find out his plan.
"So Spot, what's da big plan?" Jack Kelly asked his friend Spot Conlon.
"Yeah Spot, I'se ain't stickin' around for somethin' stupid." David complained.
"Well, we'se are gonna have to wait a while to get all da details woiked out, but it's full of illegal activities." Spot assured the boys. A smile came to the faces of Blink and Jack.
"We's ain't gonna get caught is we?" Mush asked biting his lip.
"'Course not!" Spot laughed.
"So what are you gonna do?" Blink inquired.
"We are gonna steal da tree from Rockafeller Center!" Spot announced. The other four boys looked at him in shock.
"And just how do you suppose we do dis?" David asked.
"We sneak in some night, and take it!" Spot told them. "I mean they don't got no one watchin' it! And I'se can see da stupid lights from da school, and it's dastractin'!"
"But Spot! That thing is huge!" Mush proclaimed.
"And that's why it's gonna be fun!" Jack agreed.
"So are ya all in?" Spot asked with a wicked smile.
"Hell yeah!" Jack answered.
"Sure, but you'se better not be jokin'." Blink agreed.
"I guess…" Mush decided with a nervous look on his face.
"I don't know… I'se don't think we can Spot." Dave frowned looking up at the tree.
"Come on, Dave. You'se hafta!" Jack exclaimed.
"Yeah, we'se can't do it wit out ya!" Blink added.
"Well…ok. When do we get started?" Dave ansered.
"Tonight." Spot said as a mischievous grin crossed his face.
