Hey guys! This is just a one-shot (in the Pixie Hollow online game) told through Crystal's POV. There's really no point…
I made my way through, pushing palm tree branches out of my way until I saw the clearing. Waves rolled in and out. Schelly's Shears rested nearby. Then I sensed a disturbance in the water. I can always feel water or animal in me at random points considering my younger sisters were those talents.
The water rolled further up onto the shore than usual. They were fierce waves, rip currents, I presumed, but they weren't rolling away from the shore. They were rolling toward it.
And guess what sat in the path of them? Schelly's Shears. Guess what else? Schelly had just released new hairstyles. Fairies and Sparrow men flitted in and out.
All day long.
And the currents were coming closer.
A wave splashed onto the shore, carrying away some seashells that were used as a path to the door.
Fairies and sparrow men rushed to the windows to see what was happening.
"What's going on? Why is everyone so - oh my…," Schelly stopped mid-sentence when she saw the waves.
Then I gasped in horror as a huge wave approached. I darted up, out of the way. The wave engulfed the shop. When the wave rolled back out, the shop was gone.
It was floating out to sea, trapping many helpless fairies and sparrow men. What was I to do?
I did the only thing I could at the moment: sprinkle dust on the shop and pray it works…
Luckily, it did. The shop lifted into the air, and then sat back down in it's spot. That's when I spotted two figures laughing their heads off in the distance. A fairy and a sparrow man.
The shop door swung open. Fairies with wet wings came out. Their hair was soaked. This was going to be a hard thing to fix…especially considering I'm a garden talent.
I picked up a few island flowers blossoming off to the right. I placed them on the shop - it was the perfect décor.
"Crystal," a voice said. I turned around to face Tori Watershimmer and Rachel Cricketshimmer, my sisters.
I recognized the voice to be Tori's.
"Yeah Tori?" "You just saved their lives, why are you so quiet?" Tori asked, tilting her head.
"I don't think it was nature that caused that to just happen…"
"What do you mean?" Rachel asked. Rachel was older than Tori, but I was older than both of them.
"I-I saw a fairy and a sparrow man laughing in the distance. But they were in a shady, dark area. So I could tell who they were," I said.
"That's weird," Tori said. Rachel nodded. "Where were they?" she suddenly asked.
"In that area, over there," I said, pointing off to my left. "But isn't that like, a giant forest?" Tori asked. I nodded.
"Well, we'll figure that out later. Time to repair this shop," Rachel said, picking up a seashell.
"Yeah…," Tori and I agreed. I glanced over in the area again. A pair of eyes stared back at mine.
And I stop my one-shot there. Review. Guess what? I'm writing a sequel to this!
