A/N: This one-shot was done by Peach Wookiee and myself. It is basically a re-written version of Chapter 1 of Sho's Fiery Angel which at the moment is discontinued and MAY or MAY NOT be revamped. Also I don't own 'Cold As Ice' the song is owned by Foreigner and is referenced in the first sentence.
Soft grey eyes watched her from across the Duel Academia courtyard. Those eyes belonged to a Ra Yellow student named Sho Marufuji. "She" was Asuka Tenjoin, a blonde girl once known as the Queen of Obelisk Blue. But now, the once-happy girl was as cold as ice.
Asuka looked over and saw him but simply scoffed and turned away again.
Sho sighed. "Her heart is so cold...I wish there were some way I could get through to her..."
"He's so pathetic..." The self-appointed White Queen muttered.
He noticed her looking at him and held her gaze for a second with a shy smile.
Her gaze was still cold but a slight smirk crept through.
He turned away and sighed again. 'What can I do?' he thought. 'I can't talk to her like this...Aniki can...but I'm not brave enough...' And so he decided to write her a short letter. He ran down to his dormitory and picked up a piece of paper. And he wrote, "Dear Asuka, I have always and I will always love you. You are brilliant and beautiful and no matter how you are, I love you. Sho Marufuji." "There...now where do I take it?" he wondered out loud.
He folded the letter and put it into an envelope. He then walked to the White dorm and found a student willing to deliver the note to Asuka.
The student walked to her room and knocked on the door. "Tenjoin-sama?" He asked.
She opened the door.
The student calmly handed her the note.
She accepted it. "Thank you." The other white student nodded and left as she went back in her room, closing the door.
"I have always and will always love you. You are brilliant and beautiful and no matter how you are, I love you." She read the note aloud but her eyes widened in shock upon seeing that it was Sho who wrote it.
The next day, Sho was again looking at her from across the way. His gray eyes met her brown ones.
However this time her gaze wasn't as cold.
Sho smiled. Even if she didn't love him back, it was enough that her gaze had softened.
The End!
