Author's Notes: Was inspired by Episode 7x16 & Sara's walk around the lab. Can't say more, or it'd give it away. Inspired by a comment by bluebeyonder. And beta'd by the superb mingsmommy & the wonderful missandromache. I don't own them CBS & other do.

One thing about being in a relationship with Gil Grissom was that the man could cook. Sauces and soups and desserts were the largest part of his repertoire. A few modifications to accommodate her vegetarian diet had been no problem for him. He loved to experiment in the kitchen almost as much as he did in the lab (and the bedroom).

The man had a healthy appreciation for expensive chocolate, and he knew how to work those concoctions of chocolate and cream and lots and lots of sugar. Spare sets of sheets now reside in the spare bedroom, so that if dessert gets too messy they have a clean place to sleep.

She had been reading the latest novel by Kathy Reichs when the chef in question paused during his climb up from the foot of the bed. He was staring up from between her legs with a reverent expression.

Not unheard of, but with her pajamas still on, she was curious what he was staring at.

"Yes?"

"You have a pooch," he proceeded to hike up her shirt to just above her belly. He rubbed his nose around her navel. "I think it's sexy."

When he traced the path his nose took with his tongue, she giggled helplessly.

"It's entirely your fault."

He looked up at her then, eyes bright with delight and she couldn't help but smile.
