Rain down-poured continuously in a deafening way in wailing cries. The skies were endless grays, with menacing clouds curled about.
"Kairi-sama?" Musashi simply put, abruptly.
His shugo chara's voice was the only thing that came through, emptying out the additional sounds. He stumbled, as he clumsily trudged against the soft grass, clutching on to the rough bark of tree.
A tint of pale pink caressed his cheeks. The only reason he came to Seiyo was to carry out his duty for Easter. She was his enemy; yet, his heart had something else in mind.
He wasn't a jerk, but he had been. His feelings weren't something he could nonchalantly express. His breath always paused when she was near, as well as a lingering stare would come about.
Hinamori Amu.
A feeling in his chest felt wretched, torn apart; the painful throbbing would go on, for she had her eyes on the King.
The feeling will always stay the way it is.
He watched her, quickly strolling along the slippery pavement, twirling her umbrella, as the rain poured down.
"Ah, Iinchou! What're you doing here?" She turned towards him.
His cheeks suddenly darkened. When she would talk to him, he felt happiness. It was hopeless, but a glimmer of hope shone his way.
He had not answered, but she turned away when the King called out to her, "Hinamori-san!"
He now understood.
He finally found his light, but she had already found hers.
