Disclaimer: If I owned Glee Blaine would be straight and in my bed.
"Kuuuuuuurt?"
"Yes, Blaine?" Kurt replied distractedly, not looking up from his book.
"Watchya dooooooooin?"
"Studying shakespeare, Blaine, for the essay you told me you wouldn't distract me from."
"Oh. Right. Yeah...hey Kuuuuuuuurt?"
Kurt buried his face in his arms on the desk groaning a muffled "What, Blaine?"
"Is it Romeo and Juliet?"
"No, Blaine, we're studying his sonnets."
"Ahhh I seeeeee."
Blaine was silent for a minute, and Kurt was just starting to think he was free to continue planning his essay when-
"Kuuuuuurt?"
"WHAT, BLAINE?" Kurt shouted at him, whipping his head up and glaring at his boyfriend who was looking at him all wide-eyed in shock of the admonishment.
"I just wanted to know if you would read me one..." Blaine mumbled sadly, eyes downcast. Kurt gaze softened immediately.
"Hey, I'm sorry baby, I'm just kind of stressed right now. Want to hear my favourite?"
Blaine nodded, smiling slightly, and Kurt slipped onto the bed next to him, tangling their limbs together as he lay down, holding Blaine close as he began to recite from memory.
"My mistress' eyes are nothing like the sun,
Coral is far more red than her lips red,
If snow be white then why, her breasts are dun,
If hairs be wires, black wires grow on her head.
I have seen roses, damsk'd red and white
Yet no such roses see I in her cheeks,
And in some perfumes is there more delight
Than in the breath that from my mistress reeks.
I love to hear her speak, yet well I know
That music hath a far more pleasing sound.
I grant, I never saw a godess go;
My mistress, when she walks, treads on the ground.
And yet, by heaven, I think my love as rare
As any she belied with false compare."
Blaine placed a soft kiss against Kurt's chest, snuggling in close.
"Thanks, " he murmured "You read poem beautifully, by the way."
"Mmm well it helps to have suh a captive audience." Kurt smiled, kissing the top of Blaine's head. They lay there in silence for a few minutes, just feeling each other's steady breaths and Blaine listening to Kurt's heartbeat. Blaine was the one to break the silence.
"Hey, Kurt?"
"Mhmm?"
"Will you read that poem at our wedding?"
Kurt's eyes widened, his stomach did a flip and he was sure Blaine could feel the increase in his heartrate. Slowly, a large smile spread across his face.
"Yeah," he whispered fondly "yeah I'd like that."
