"Hey you" Sun said with a wink as he spied Blake sitting in front of him, her back to the wall, nose buried in an old, leather bound book. She looked up, a small grin dancing across her features and closed her book, marking the page.

"Hey, have a good day?" She asked as he strolled over.

"Not bad, it was nice and quiet." He answered, offering a hand up and pulling her into a passionate kiss, he gathered her up in an embrace, lifting her off the ground slightly, as she wrapped her arms about his neck and held him gently. They broke apart, panting slightly at the intensity of the kiss. Setting her down, they begin to walk away from the restaurant Sun worked at, their fingers entwining.

"And what'd you do with your day off?"

"Not much, I spent all day reading and playing games. I even got a nap in."

"A cat-nap?" Blake punched him with her free hand and glared, baring her razor-sharp incisors. He doubled over in mock pain, before breaking out into laughter.

"You're as bad as Yang." She grumbled, not quite managing to appear angry. "So, you won't guess what happened today."

"Oh?" A blonde eyebrow climbed up Sun's face.

"Ruby asked Weiss out"

"Really?" He laughed. "About damn time, they've been going at it for months now, ever since the…."

"Yeah I know. Weiss knocked Ruby flat on her ass while they were testing her arm and Ruby just looked at her and… 'Will you go out with me?'" Blake giggled at the memory of her adorably awkward former team mates. As they reached an intersection, Sun looked at her for a moment, stopping.

"My place or yours?"

"Well, my place's empty, Ruby and Weiss are out doing I-don't-even-wanna-know-what and Yang's still working the bar at the Sundrop Lounge with Velvet. We coooouuuld…" she let her voice trail off provocatively. Standing on the balls of her feet slightly, she leant into his ear.

"…maybe… take a bath…? I got some more catnip" She breathed in a husky voice, kissing his cheek softly, her slender fingers tracing his jawline, she lowered herself down again. He laughed, bringing a frown to her face.

"My girlfriend the addict."

"What?" She muttered sulkily, her gaze downcast and a slight frown knitting her brow.

"Nothing kitten." he assured her, his lips grazing her forehead as he absent-mindedly brushed a rogue strand of hair behind her human ear. They began walking again, crossing the busy main road of Vale.

"Your place it is." He chuckles.

"No really, what?" Sun met her amber eyes for a moment, his thumb tracing circles in the palm of the hand he hadn't realized he'd re-taken.

"You're kinda adorable, you know that?" His tail lashed out behind him, wrapping around her waist and pulling her close fast enough to elicit a surprised gasp. Blake's free hand flew his bare chest in an attempt to steady herself, pointed nails digging in slightly. As her sudden fright subsided she nuzzled her head into his neck, felt-lined ears twitching slightly as a chesty purr escaped her.

"I love you too." she murmured affectionately.
