Lessons Still Left
He thought there was nothing left in the world
for him to learn – he was wrong,
there was a world of lessons still
for him to take
Except he skipped through them,
thinking he'd gone through them before –
but they were different now,
and slowly, his grades slipped
without him aware
Until the failing line.
