A/N: Not a chapter update sadly, but it's coming on Friday :) I saw this post on tumblr about how Marius, Eponine and Cosette from Les Miserables was Hungary, Austria and Prussia in genderbent form. I got thinking that I'd write a one shot for rockerchic99. Hopefully it won't be too bad and you all enjoy it :) I actually had a lot of fun writing this and I own nothing at all.
Julchen- Nyo!Prussia
Anneliese- Nyo!Austria
Daniel- Nyo!Hungary
In my life, she has burst like the music of angels, the light of the sun
And my life seems to stop
As if something is over and something has scarcely begun.
As her Hungarian friend pulled her down the road, Julchen couldn't help but like her heart was breaking. Earlier she had ended up agreeing to take him to where the girl he had seen earlier lived. Her name was Anneliese and she had lived with Julchen as a child until she had taken away by a mysterious man. Afterwards when her family had come to Paris, she had met Daniel. In all that time she had spent with Daniel, he never seemed to notice her, but one look at the Austrian woman and he was head over heels.
"Julchen, you're the friend who has brought me here. Thanks to you, I am at one with the gods and Heaven is near! And I soar through a world that is new that is free!" He took both her hands and spun them as they made their way down the alley. She laughed lightly, wishing it could stay like that. Daniel then let go and continued on while she stopped.
'Every word that he says is a dagger in me.' Julchen thought. 'In my life, there's been no one like him anywhere, anywhere, where he is. If he asked, I'd be his.'
In my life, there is someone who touches my life
Waiting near
Waiting here
Daniel stopped in front of a large fence and peered inside. A girl on the inside with dark hair was making her way to him. Julchen remained at the corner, watching them.
"A heart full of love, a heart full of song. I'm doing everything all wrong. Oh God, for shame, I do not even know your name. Dear Madamoiselle, won't you say? Will you tell?" He asked her. "My name is Daniel Héderváry."
A heart full of love
No fear, no regret
"And mine's Anneliese." She replied smiling at him.
"Anneliese, I don't know what to say." Daniel's smile widened as he said her name.
"Then make no sound."
"I am lost."
"I am found. . ."
A heart full of love, a heart full of you
"He was never mine to lose. . ." Julchen told herself. "Why regret what cannot be?"
"A single look and then I knew."
"I knew it too from today."
"These are words he'll never say, not to me. Not to me, no." Julchen sighed as she watched them.
Every day
(His heart full of love)
For it isn't a dream
Not a dream after all
(He will never feel this way)
