Disclaimer: I don't own the Gargoyles. I don't own the political figures or Queensborough (I go there) . I do own 2am Drunk Productions, though it is a misleading name. They are rarely written at 2am, and I never get drunk. For the inspiration as to the name, read The Last Continent by Terry Pratchett. (And also read Interesting Times if you want to know how the star got there in the first place) Feedback is always welcome. This takes place in the fall of 1998, and ignores every TGC episode after The Journey.

"In tonight's top story, Mayor Julliani has declared an official state of emergency. President Clinton has agreed to send in the National Guard to help end the Quarrymen siege on the city of Manhattan. The Quarrymen, led by Jon Castaway, are a vigilante group bent on the extinction of the newly discovered species known as gargoyles. To that end, the Quarrymen have been fingered in a number of incidents; the arson at the People for Interspecies Tolerance's headquarters, the brutal stabbing of nine months pregnant Kathryn Rayne in her brother-in-law's minivan, the execution style shooting of famed anthropologist and gargoyle advocates Dr. Victor Diallo along with his wife of twenty years and their four year old son, the Queensborough Massacre this past August, the smashing of the statuary at St. Jon the Divine's Cathedral near Washington Heights, numerous riots, and damage to both public and private property is estimated to be in the millions. District Attorney, Margot Yale, said 'While I have no love for those horrid gargoyles, the Quarrymen just are a bigger threat to the city. The fear of being attacked by a Quarryman just on the suspicion that you are allied with those filthy beasts is more prevalent than the fear of falling victim to a gargoyle attack.' In a press release yesterday morning.
"Fugitives Hanna and Jarred Norman, better known as Jackal and Hyena, were taken into custody earlier today after a police shootout in Brooklyn that left eight cops dead and nineteen wounded. Both Hanna and Jarred sustained heavy damage before they could be brought to justice. Hanna and Jarred were wanted for multiple counts of armed robbery, escaping from various prisons, parole violations, and jumping bail. Eight counts for manslaughter, and twenty seven counts of assault with a deadly weapon have been added to the list of charges. District Attorney Yale is pushing for a death sentence. They are currently being held in Rikker's Island with there weaponry detached and being stored in a police station near city hall.
"Local crime boss, Anthony Dracon was hospitalized after he was hit by a drunk driver. Dracon was leaving a local dinner when Cory Mattis jumped onto the sidewalk and continued till he hit a light pole. Cory died on impact after hitting the pole. His blood alcohol level was ten times the legal limit. Dracon is in serious yet stable condition.
"There is a warrant out for the arrest of geneticist Anton Sevarious. He is wanted for violating human rights, experimenting on humans without their consent, kidnapping, and for murder. Among the missing are Margaret Lily Reed, Dr. Theodore William West, and Christopher Ramirez. If anyone has any idea as to the whereabouts of these people, or any others who worked for or had a run in with Dr. Sevarious and has not been seen since, please contact the police. A civil class action suit suing Dr. Sevarious is being filed by the survivors of the missing spearheaded by Opal Carol West, Theodore's mother.
