Have you ever been in in an evil robot apocalypse? Yeah, didn't think so. Well, i'm in one right now. It all started one day when my friend Carlos and I were walking home from our school in Dallas Oregon. We heard screaming and loud crashes, and rushed to see what was happening. When we got there, we saw these strange looking robots coming out of a spaceship like an army. "What are those things, Isabelle?"
Carlos and I ran away as fast as we could. After a few minutes of running, Carlos and I ran into my house. I tried looking for my family with the help of Carlos, but couldn't find them.I gave up looking for them. They just weren't there. Then I noticed that my house looked all beat up, and damaged, not at how how I left it this morning. I had no time to start freaking out when I heard loud stomps of robots, and their talking coming from upstairs.
It took us only a second to start running for somewhere safe. My room. We ran as fast as we could to my bedroom in the basement of my 3-story house. I locked the door, and hid behind my dresser. Carlos hid under my bed. We heard the footsteps getting louder,and stopped outside of my bedroom, then the louder banging came from my door,along with the sounds of dangerous guns. It felt like an eternity before it stopped. Carlos and I heard some talking, and the sounds of what heard like the robots exploding. We thought we were safe, then somebody tried opening the door. I heard a strange buzzing, then the door opened.
Right as the door opened, a strange man with a tan trenchcoat came in, with a blonde girl behind him. He instantly introduced himself."Hello, I'm the Doctor." Carlos and I gawked at him in disbelief. Who the heck is this guy? "And this is my companion, Rose Tyler." He turnedtowards the blonde girl. "Hello." She said with a wave. The Doctor could see that we were confused, so he explained everything to us. He told us about the robots, and that they were called Cybermen. Then he talked about who he and Rose are. "Will you two be able to help me defeat the Cybermen?" The Doctor asked in a serious and I nodded, and we were off.
It may have taken a year or so, but I can now relax, knowing that my world is safe. With the help of the Doctor, we eventually destroyed all of the Cybermen. Now I know to never underestimate robots again, for that they might regain their intelligence, and take over the world.
