(A/N: Here's a fun little fic featuring Snaptrap and Larry. This ought to be fun. Let's find out how it goes!)

It was a quiet day in the city of Petropolis. None of the villains were out causing trouble or anything, so the T.U.F.F. agents all got the day off. However, I'm pretty sure that something might be happening with Snaptrap and his henchmen. Maybe we should head on over to D.O.O.M. H.Q. and find out!

At D.O.O.M. H.Q., Snaptrap was in the main room, playing his black Nintendo 3DS. He thought back to when he learned about the 3DS, and how badly he wanted one. The day the 3DS finally hit the stores, Snaptrap got one. But he also remembered how his brother-in-law, Larry, wanted a 3DS, too. However, Larry had decided to wait until the price went down before getting his own 3DS.

"I can't believe he decided to wait. He should've just gotten one right away." Snaptrap muttered to himself, still focusing on the game he was playing.

Just then, Larry came in.

"Hey, Snaptrap! Guess what I got?" Larry said. He seemed to be hiding something behind his back.

"Not now, Larry. I'm busy." Snaptrap said, not looking at Larry.

"Fine, I'll tell you anyway. I got my own 3DS." Larry said, still hiding whatever it was behind his back. (A/N: From what Larry said, we can assume he's hiding the 3DS behind his back.)

"You did?! I still don't understand why you didn't get one right away." Snaptrap said, pausing the game.

"I told you, I wanted to wait until the price went down. Besides, this was definitely worth the wait." Larry replied.

"What do you mean?" Snaptrap asked, turning off the 3DS and putting it away before approaching Larry.

"Mine's a 3DS XL, and you know what that means." Larry said.

"So your 3DS has bigger screens. So what?" Snaptrap asked.

"Those came out a while after the 3DS hit the stores. Besides, the bigger screens make the games easier to see." Larry said.

"Big whoop." Snaptrap said. He could see the games he played on his 3DS just fine.

"Maybe you'd be interested to know what color my 3DS XL is." Larry smirked.

"No." said Snaptrap.

"You sure?" Larry asked.

"Fine. Show me." Snaptrap said, knowing that Larry would show it to him anyway.

Larry showed what he'd been hiding behind his back. It was his 3DS XL, and the color definitely got Snaptrap's attention. It was GOLD! (A/N: I know they probably haven't released a 3DS (or 3DS XL) in that color, but I once read that they might release one in that color. Work with me, readers.)

"You... found... a gold one?!" Snaptrap asked, shocked.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" Larry asked.

"No fair! Your 3DS is better than mine!" Snaptrap grumped.

"Well, if you weren't all about instant gratification, you could've gotten a 3DS as nice as mine. That's another reason why I waited before getting one." Larry said.

Snaptrap was so angry and jealous, he couldn't even speak. Heck, he couldn't even throw Larry in the shark tank. Then Larry went away and started playing a game on his 3DS XL.

The End

So, there's a moral to this story: good things come to those who wait. That turned out true for Larry. I hope you enjoyed this story.
