Wild Heart
A Demon's love was hard won, an idiom to those who did not hold it within their hands. Apprehension of this affection, akin to any other problematic phenomenon, was once obtained it would endure relatively for the remainder of ones life. A love that transcended that of even death, these extraordinary depths of love a particular idiosyncratic of the Inu- yõkia. For an Inu-yõkai's love can only be given but once. A select few choose to refute such a trifle think as love. Believing it to be foolish, it is here where the kami would interfere, for one may run from destiny but none could ever escape fate.
Raven Black tresses floated softy in front of Carmel eyes, as a womanly figure was engulfed in the light of an ancient wooden well. This light left the women with a deep sense of foreboding as if something was off, different in the feel of the wells light that had consumed her, transformed her even. For after years of traveling to and from the feudal era; she had come to know the unique complex of this blue light. Yet she couldn't fight the feeling that every single thing was wrong about the wells magic this time around. The shade of blue only slightly off, from its normal distinctive sky blue, no longer holding its same comforting feeling of familiarity.
"Something tells me that this time around, I won't be going back to my beloved Sengoku period." Came the slight tones of the females voice as it rang of her tongue in a trembling soprano, just before her shoe clad feet touched down on the boneless ground of the bone eaters well. Only further confirming her suspicions that this was not the right time period that she had previously been trying to return too. Releasing a dejected sigh, she wondered what kind of adventures the kami had in-store for her this time around, considering she had only just defeated the despicable Naraku, and rid the world of the Shikon no tama. As it had turned out though eliminating the world of the Shikon no Tama, meant that as she made her most unselfish wish upon the damnable thing, in the process insuring a fully purified jewel. As all the evil that was in the large pearl like jewel, correspondingly disappeared. The spirit of Midoriko pulled her conscience into a field of sorts in her consciousness. Leaving her body in a comatose like state that left all her companions startled, and scared out of their wits.
"Kagome…." The raven-haired beauty shivered at the hauntingly quite whisper of her name that seemed to be carried on the wind. "Look at me child, there is much I must explain to eye, and very little time to do as such." Turning face to the direction of the wind, she came face to face with a woman, of equally black locks, and chocolate brown eyes. Her forehead housed four pink marks that appeared to shape the points of a diamond, draped in miko grab, further covered by a warrior's armor.
"Midoriko." Kagome proclaimed more knowingly than she had truly meant to sound, as a much deeper question routed its self further within her mind. 'How on earth could she be facing this immortalized women?'
" Yes, child it be I, I must first inform yee though, that I know eye's name by the fact that I have been watching yee since yee's birth from within the Shikon." Kagome softly giggled to herself as she realized that such an inquiry had never even crossed her mind, almost as if it had been normal that such an old spirit would know and recognize each other. "I wish for yee to know, that if be very proud to know that yee are truly one of the up most pure of hearts. For yee to be a true tamer too is such a rarity... "
"What in all the hell's is a tamer?" She broke in at her impatiens and confusion; there was no way this was actually happening she had decided. "Child a Tamer be a pure hearted maiden, with a fiery spirit, who is meant to tame a wild heart," With furrowed brows, and a contemptuous grimace on her face, kagome interjected again. "Midoriko I don't mean to sound rudely disbelieving yet, I'm pretty sure that this isn't really happening and I must have passed out from the exhaustion of battle once the pure adrenalin had finally worn off. Now I'm simply imagining you here and all of this, as my body is in a comatose state." Midoriko simply smiled with glittering eyes that seemed to deepen with a foresight that one as young as kagome could not understand. "Yee are right child, yee are in a comatose state, but yee are wrong about this being a simple imagining."
Shaking her head from her memories, she glanced up out of the well at the clear blue sky, before slowly letting her eyes trail down edge of the well searching for the vines she had used to clamber out of the well. Instead she spied a new looking wooden latter of sorts still attached to the inside of the well. "Well if that's the only improvement for this time, I do believe it is perfectly fine with me no more vines and twigs digging into my palms as I climb for a while. Who wouldn't be okay with that." Kagome inquired to the forest, as she set about climbing this latter, with minimal effort and only slight grunts of annoyment here and there. Pulling her-self over the lip of the well she was welcomed by naught but a field full of weeds, sheltered by trees. "Well my only hope of finding out what time I am in is to find the nearest village, hopefully avoiding a similar fiasco to my first time in the Sengoku period. Who really wants to be seen as a wonton whore in two time periods as a first impression. "
'Thank god, I decided to dress in a yukata on my trip back.' With this kagome tracked off into the words once previously fremiliar to her waking form, now left nothing but confusion, in search of someone who might help her answer the many questions left to her once again.
