GUITAR HERO
An ode
Red, yellow, green, blue
Objects of my desire, what about you?
When I turned it on, my 360 hummed,
And on the plastic, my index drummed,
Was that the sound of my guitar,
Or the crash of an earthquake from afar,
Around the fret board, my fingers twirled,
I am lost within my own little world,
Up, up, up,
My points soared,
As I whammy'd that massive chord,
I was unbeatable; I knew all the hits,
While on his arse, my friend sits,
I played with him in battle mode,
After the chorus I was on victory road,
I pick a song,
One that's long,
With expert as my complexity,
I play out that first note, completely free,
Endless streams, 300 note streaks,
When finally that blue bar peaks,
I can barely contain my excitement, for I know,
One more chord and its star power, GO!
In a second,
I hit the millions,
Alsmost billions,
To think, that, from zero,
Does that not make me,
A guitar hero.
