Chapter 1: Age 5

Hey guys! This idea has been floatng around for while, and I thought that it would be cool to expieriment with this idea! Please read, review, and enjoy!

Dean was bored.

He had picked up a random comic book at the last gas station that they had been to, but he had finished it long ago, and was now pointlessly flipping the pages.

"DEAN!"

Dean sighed, and answered his brother without lifting his gaze. "Yeah Sammy?"

"Dad said you would teach me how to swim! Can you teach me? " Dean looked at his brother and saw his hazel eyes shaped into the signiture puppy dog look. Dean instantly melted in his little brothers gaze.

"Yeah Sam, go get you suit on and we'll go to the lake." Sam's face lit up as his small legs speeded to his room. Dean chuckled and grabbed his trunks and started to change. A few minutes later, Sam emerged from his room with a huge smile on his face. He ran over to Dean and tugged his arm.

"Let's GOOOO!" Sam started to drag his brother toward the door. Dean started to laugh.

"Ok squirt, just take it easy." Soon the two brothers arrived at the lake and were waist deep in the water. "Ok Sam Im going to hold your waist and your going to do exactly what I tell you, ok?" Sam nodded, his dark hair shaking with every nodd. Dean held Sam around the waist so that his legs no longer touched the bottom of the lake. "Now kick your legs like a dolphin and make mountains with your arms, got it?" Sam tried to do what Dean told him, but he just ended up kicking water into Deans face.

"Im sorry Dean I tried but-"

"It's ok little guy, let me just show you ok?" Dean put Sam close to the shore, and waded into the water. He put his head under the water and started to swim. Sam stood on the shore in awe. He saw his brother gracefully glide through the water, his legs and arms moving together in perfect harmony. Dean swam back up to Sam and smiled in his directinon. "See? Now can you try?" Sam nodded his head. The rest of the day, Sam and Dean worked on swimming, but even as Sam got the hang of swimming, he would never forget about the awe that he felt when he saw his brother swim for this first time.
