Oh God, this was so wrong.
I imprinted on Claire. Sure, she was just a toddler, but she was my toddler. I promised to watch over her, to look out for her, to love her more than anything. And I did. So... What the hell man?
My fingers twirled around thick, black hair, my free hand resting on a muscular shoulder. Man did Embry need a haircut, I bet it was really hot when he phased out now. But... Hey it was really hot here too.
Chapped lips ran over my shoulder, over my tatoo, and his fingers laced with mine. Sometimes he could be so gentle, despite the roughness to his exterior. Then again, he could be a lot worse, this was just the begining.
How did my shorts fly over to that tree? And how did I start making out with my best friend anyway? This wasn't right. I had Claire, I loved Claire. And wasn't Embry seeing that one girl...? Both girls. And we were both dudes, so... How did this match up?
"Hey, man, you alright?"
His dark eyes looked right into mine, a slight smirk was encrusted in his face. I felt my face heat up, but I nodded.
"Yeah, dude, no worries."
And I took his face between my hands and closed the gap between us. His mouth moved deftly against mine, his tongue poking at my lips, asking for entrance. I wouldn't deny, I didn't have it in me to deny. Hell, I wanted him more than he wanted me.
Yet I bet he wasn't sitting there second-guessing this. I did this every time.
Thank God we weren't wolves at that moment.
He laid me back against the freshly cut grass, the moon bathing over me. We were supposed to be patrolling the South together, but somehow came to do...this instead.
"I want you." he muttered against my mouth, running his hands down my sides. "So bad."
"You have me." I said, grinning lazily and looking at him.
His eyes were so focused, this was what he wanted, he wasn't lying. The way he looked at me, I felt like the last banana-nut muffin of the final batch Emily made for the day. And, just like he got that, he'd have me.
"I do."
He kissed me again, pinning my wrists down against the ground and...
...
"Nngh... Oh God."
Was the sun always so bright? I rolled over onto my stomach, on the sticky grass, with my face pressed against Embry's hip.
I could avoid the sun if I tried hard enough.
"Rise and shine, sleeping beauty."
He flicked my forehead repeatedly. I groaned and swatted him away. It was too early, and boy was I sore.
His free-hand trailed up and down my back, but the flicking of my forehead didn't cease.
"C'mon, Quil. We gotta get back to La Push." Flick, flick, flick. "Sam's gunna be pissed."
"Ugh... Who cares?"
Smack!
I sat up, rubbing my head, and glaring. "Chill! I'm up, I'm up!"
He smirked and pecked my lips quick. "Good. Let's go."
Embry sure was something. Quickly throwing his shorts on, he flung mine at me and waited for me to change. It was like he was bi-polar, or whatever. He could be gentle, rough, a total ass, then a big softie; all in a matter of minutes. I guess that's what drew me to him though.
Despite just how wrong it was.
...
A/N: Wow, it's been a while since I've written something Twilight, and my first time trying to take on something with the wolves (Okay, that's a lie, I was starting a Sam/Leah/Jacob story earlier...). It's been a while since I've read the books too so, bear with me if they seem OOC and... Strange.
I like EmbryxQuil, because Embry is so seme . And... Well this is for GASPLudwig, I guess. Only because it's her fault I wrote a Twilight/New Moon/Eclipse/Breaking Dawn-Whatever, story.
