Hiruka walked along the dirt roads of the village with wide eyes. Having kept her Pokemon in their Pokeballs, the fact that the Staravia next to her was able to stay conscious of who it was originally, even after going through the portal between the Pokemon world and the Konohagakure ninja village. The vortex had been found to cause mind alteration to Pokemon that went through if not in Pokeballs, and humans as well except under certain circumstances. Hiruka luckily fit the specialized standards, and the human she was looking for did too.
She'd heard rumors of the boy cursed by the nine-tailed fox demon, and she suspected that specific boy was the one she sought out. She'd gone through the portal upon the request of her friend Barry, a Pokemon trainer who'd lost his twin brother as well as their pet vulpix at a young age to it. Knowing about the evil properties of the portal, she had a feeling the 'nine-tailed fox demon' was a forced evolution of the Vulpix, and likelihood was the boy, who she was told was a stranger at that time to the village, was the twin brother that had been lost at the same time.
Her nose sniffed at the air carefully, seeking a very specific scent. Rather, it wasn't a scent, she'd reminded herself- it was a special type of energy which she saught. "Ninetails should be nearby, if what I was told was correct... Meaning so should Naruto..."
"Naruto?" A pink-haired girl heard the name from about a meter away somehow, turning to look at Hiruka. "How do you know Naruto?"
"Then you know him too?" The green-haired girl smiled easily. Her hunch must have been right. "I have been seeking him for a while now. My name is Hiruka... Tell me, where can I find him?"
"Follow me... I'm on my way to see him anyway. He's in the hospital."
"What? Alright- I'm right behind you. But please, can you tell me what happened on the way?"
