I finally finished the first chapter of my Naruto fanfiction.
I wrote a few chapters for this about a year ago, but that was on Naruto Villages which got shut down with my fanfiction. That meant I had to start over and after six months, I've finally finished the Prologue and am putting finishing touches on a few more chapters.
I will be writing about 30 chapters for this story. If you guys want to see more after this one, I am thinking about doing a sequel that takes place during Naruto the Last and the ten or twelve years after that.
If you liked this chapter please comment and tell me what you would like to see, a scene, or a character. Also tell me any ideas you have about my O.C. running into or fighting other characters during his backstory. I already have a scenario in which he meets and becomes friends with a younger Mei, and one where he fights A (the Raikage) without revealing his true identity.

(Fanfic) Wind and Waves
Opening - Does by Guren
Prologue:
A masked figure crouched in a tree, as he watched a group of four enter the broken down temple.
He waited for them to exit the Uzumaki Clan's Mask Temple. As they continued closer towards the Leaf Village, the masked man began to follow them.
He noticed they were headed to the Nakano Shrine, when they suddenly stopped.
The man froze, thinking they had spotted him. Then one of the young men he was following motioned for them to continue. They went into the shrine, after a while he heard the sounds of a small struggle.
The man carefully made his way to the top of the shrine.
He watched them through a small hole in the roof. The sight of Orochimaru using Edo Tensei, cleared his confusion.
As four figures began to form, Orochimaru transferred himself into the white Zetsu one of the young men held onto. The masked man jumped from the building, and hid behind a pillar just inside the shrine.
He watched as the four figures slowly became the first, second, third, and fourth Hokage'.
Before anyone could speak, Orochimaru chuckled. "You can come out now, spy." The masked man slowly walked out from behind the pillar, towards the group.
He wore blue sandals and black pants that had bandages around the ankles.
His shirt was blue with a long flowing left sleeve and was sleeveless on the right, showing off a scar on his upper-arm. He wore a black vest that was zipped to right below his collarbone. The collar of the vest was blue and silver fur from a blue fox.
The man wore a blue fingerless glove on his left hand, there was a uchigatana sword on his back.
The sword was about sixty-six centimetres long, its hilt was blue and had a white braid. His saya, or scabbard, was a metallic blue.
His hair was yellow-blonde, short in the back, spiky in the front and a few places on top.
He wore a headband that was covered by a blue, silver, and black Anbu fox mask. Through the mask, the man's bright blue eyes could be seen.
Sasuke watched the man carefully, as he bowed before the third Hokage.
"I have completed my mission, Lord Hiruzen", he said. The third Hokage was about to respond when the fourth interrupted him.
"Do I know you?"
The man nodded his head, "Would you like me to take my mask off?"
Minato watched as the man stood back up and made no movement to take off the mask. "You know what, I think I'd rather you find out on your own", he answered.
Hiruzen cleared his throat, "Raiden, you finished your mission years ago."
The Hokage kept speaking, "You are no longer required to disguise yourself." Raiden nodded; "I understand, but there is still something I must do."
"What's going on?", interrupted the first Hokage. Hiruzen explained that Orochimaru broke the Shikifujin Seal, and used Edo Tensei on them. Minato looked at Orochimaru, "I'm surprised you pulled it off."
Orochimaru grumbled, "Don't underestimate me."
Hashirama interrupted the conversation, "Wait a minute, who are you?" He was pointing at Minato.
Minato turned around and showed him the writing on his back. Hashirama looked happy, "I'm glad the Leaf has survived this long." Minato nervously laughed, "Actually, I died long before the third did." Hashirama's face fell, he was confused.
He asked who the fifth Hokage was. Orochimaru answered him, "Princess Tsunade, your granddaughter."
Hashirama laughed, then he remembered something and his face fell, again. "Is the village still standing?", he asked. Minato told him to have faith, then Hashirama mentioned that he used to spoil her and that she had gambling issues.
Suigetsu stared in shock at the "God of Shinobi", as he laughed.
"Brother, shut up," Tobirama told him. He looked to Orochimaru, "Do you plan on attacking the village?" Orochimaru explained, "I revived you so that someone could talk to you."
Sasuke stepped forward; "I am Sasuke Uchiha, I want to know a few things." After asking Hiruzen about Itachi, Sasuke turned to the first Hokage. "What is the legacy of the Village? What does it mean to be a Shinobi?"
1 hour later (When reading this, I said it in the Spongebob hour guy voice.)
After waiting for Hashirama to explain everything to Sasuke, Raiden stood up. He had been storing his chakra.
Sasuke sighed, "I have decided... I'm going to the battlefield. I won't let the village, and Itachi become nothing." Raiden replied, "Then why are we wasting time, let's go".
Hashirama smiled and got up. "It's been decided then! Tobirama! Prepare to fly us outside!" Tobirama grimaced, "Even if I wanted to use 'Flying Raijin', I'm bound right now."
Hashirama looked to Orochimaru, "What will you do?" The Third stared at him, "You said earlier that you'd follow Sasuke."
Orochimaru grinned, "Of course... We will acompany him." Suigetsu jumped back, terrified that Orochimaru was coming with them, "What?!" He stammered, "J-Jugo, what about you?" Jugo nodded, "I'm going too. It's my job to protect Sasuke," he stated.
They all proceded outside, Minato stopped next to Raiden, "You remind me of someone I left behind."
As they stood atop the Great Stone Faces, the Hokage' commented on the view and how the village had changed. Suigetsu waited for his chance and bolted.
Raiden dodged out of the way as an object, no, a person flew into Suigetsu. The young woman proceeded to beat him up, punching him in the throat. Parts of his body exploded into water as she attacked him. She was going on and on about how she had, sensed his chakra and found Sasuke.
Sasuke had a surprised look on his face, "Karin..." Orochimaru chuckled, "Oh my... So many of my best experiments gathered in one place!"
"You bastard, I'll never forgive you," she yelled.
Sasuke smirked, "I'm sorry, Karin," Viens rippled in her forehead, "As if a simple apology will get you off the hook...", her anger immediately disspated, "you good for nothing..." Orochimaru laughed, "I see you still have a weakness for Sasuke, Karin..."
She went straight up to Orochimaru and pointed at... "Sasuke, had the gall to stab me and...". He sighed, "What a coincidence, me too."
After a coversation between Hiruzen and Orochimaru about his intentions in helping them, they split up. The four Hokage', Sasuke, Raiden, and Jugo headed to the battlefield.
Far away, on a hill of the battlefield, stood a lone figure. He looked out over the land, his Rinnegan piercing the air. "There's no mistake," thought Madara, "this chakra is... Hashirama!"
His gaze became intense and his frown split into an evil grin. The ten tails became frantic after this, breaking out of it's earth prison.
The sreech of the beast deafened everyone fighting, Kurama warned Naruto that the ten tails was about to use it's Cataclysm. The ground began to rumble, and a force which began to break the earth erupted forth from the beast. Madara looked towards the ten tails and activated his Susanoo.
"The real fun is just beginning," he yelled.
Kakashi rushed foward to try and use his Kamui on the creature but just as he activated it, Obito grabbed him. They were both transported to an empty dimension.
The Cataclysm was released; multiple tornados swarmed the earth, lightning struck the ground, and waves crashed against the land. Madara watched, safe inside his Susanoo, "That should have cleared most of them out." As he looked down though, he noticed everyone had been protected by Naruto's chakra. The Allied Force shinobi sat where they were, shocked they were alive.
Naruto stepped forward, clutching his arm as blood dripped from it and his forehead. He smiled, "Is that all you've got?"
The ten tails began to charge it's chakra once again, Naruto fell to one knee as he winced. The chakra that once covered Naruto's allies began to dissapate. Madara spoke directly to him, "It looks like you've reached your limit... it's time you made your exit."
A line of shinobi headed by Hinata, jumped between Naruto and the Uchiha. Sakura appeared behind him and began to heal his wounds.
Ten tails had finished charging chakra and started to create a Bijuu Bomb. As the bomb grew larger, everyone began to panic. Sakura told them all not to waver after how far they had come. Shikamaru was given an idea and asked Ino to link him to Kitsuchi and Bee. He conveyed his plan to them and then Ino linked him to every shinobi. The Beast Bomb was shot as everyone created a stone barrier. The barriers lined up and slowed the attack as Bee directed it upward.
As the attack neared the last wall, Bee and the eight tails stopped it. Bee held it back but he was becoming weak, the bomb started to push him away.
The eight tails fell forward, everyone stared in shock as the Beast Bomb vanished. A specialized kunai with a seal on it pierced the ground in front of Naruto. The fourth hokage landed in the same spot and grabbed it.
"Am I late?", he asked. Naruto smiled, "Nope," he answered, "right on time, Dad!"
Off in the distance, the tailed beast bomb exploded. "I sent the ten tails' attack towards the sea," explained Minato. He turned towards Sakura after a rough impact. "Thank you for healing Naruto. Are you... Naruto's girlfriend?"
Naruto's mouth dropped, "Huh," he thought about it, "hmm... uh-huh... Yeah! I suppose you could say that." Sakura growled, "You keep quiet!", she headbutted him in the shoulder. Naruto fell forward stunned, "You're supposed to be healing me, but I just suffered more damage..."
"I'll heal the extra damage too!", she replied. Minato awkwardly stood there, nervously laughing as he thought of how she reminded him of Kushina.
Naruto got up, "The others should be arriving soon." Ino turned around, "Something's coming, " she stated. The third hokage landed next to Minato as the words were spoken. A few moments later the second and first were beside him as well.
Hiruzen explained that Orochimaru had revived them.
Madara jumped onto a plateau not far from the Hokage', "I've been waiting for you, Hashirama!" The first hokage pointed to him, "I'll deal with you later", he announced. As the Hokage' prepared to face the ten tails, Minato activated his nine tails Bijuu mode. He placed marks on the second and third's backs. He had already set up kunai markers in various areas.
The three were teleported to different areas, simultaneously they signed the same Jutsu with Hashirama, "Four Crimson Ray Formation!" As everyone stood in awe of the barrier, Sakura felt a familiar chakra.
Sasuke and Raiden landed in front of her. Naruto grinned, "You sure took your time getting here, Sasuke."
"Sasuke?", Sakura questioned. Sasuke turned his head, "Is that you, Sakura?" She became confused, "S-Sasuke! Why?!", she yelled. The other leaf chuunin turned in their direction, struck with confusion as well.
Jugo stood to the side of Sasuke, ready to fight if he needed to protect him.
Sasuke chuckled, "You're all still as noisy as ever!" Kiba growled, "Why are you here?!"
Sasuke stood still and answered, "A lot has happened, I've decided to protect Leaf Village." He turned his head and looked into Naruto's eyes, "And then, I'll... become Hokage." The chuunin were shocked and their eyes bugged out. Sakura absorbed his comment, "What?!"
Naruto remembered Itachi's words of Sasuke, he stood, "I'm going to be Hokage!" Raiden stepped forward, "I'm glad you've all been reunited, but we're wasting too much time."
Hashirama nodded, "Exactly what I was thinking. Start infusing chakra right now."
Naruto looked to Sakura, "Thanks for healing me, Sakura. Now it's your turn to get some rest. Let's go, Sasuke!" The two were gone, Sakura left to watch them again. 'No, not this time', she thought. She followed them, and jumped next to Naruto. "Sakura?", questioned Naruto.
"Do you see me as some sort of weak woman who can't keep up with you two? Do you think Lady Tsunade would be the only one out of the Legendary Sannin to inadequately train her student? I'm almost there... I'll be at full capacity in a little bit." Naruto stood in surprise, "Just like you, I'm a member of Team 7", she stated determinedly.
He smiled, "Okay then, Team 7 is finally back! Let's go, Sakura! Sasuke!" Ino laughed, "That sure brings back memories, doesn't it, Shikamaru?"
Shikamaru groaned, "Well, if he's willing to help us defeat the enemy, I won't turn him away." Choji grinned, "It's been a long time since our class has been back together." "I'm going to become Hokage! Hey, are you guys even listening?" yelled Kiba.
Shino quieted him, "Kiba, no one's paying attention right now... and it's pitiful. Stop it." Hinata encouraged him, "Kiba, I heard you! We should all aspire to become Hokage." Akimaru barked, Naruto streched his arms, "Let's show them what we're made of, ya know!"
"Wait a minute", announced the first hokage.
The ten tails had charged up another Beast Bomb and released it, a blinding white light fell on the battlefield. The attack hadn't broken the barrier though, the explosion came out the top, injuring the ten tails. Hashirama made wooden clones, they created entry points at the four sides of the barrier.
As all the shinobi ran towards ten tails, it created hundreds of fission beings to keep them away from it's real body. Sakura watched Naruto and Sasuke rush forward and take out several clones.
One charged toward her and she punched it, it's long arm came up to strike her. 'I reached full capacity, I can finally unleash it.'
She pulled her arm back and punched the clone in the chest, it flew past Naruto and Sasuke leaving them in awe. The force of the clone flying past them took out several other clones as well.
Sakura leapt into the air, her fist landing into the ground broke a large portion of it. 'I am never talking back to Sakura again', thought Naruto. "What monster strength, it just might be greater than Tsuna's", commented Hashirama. Shizune thought about it, 'Amassing chakra at a continuous rate over three years... requiring extremely delicate chakra control. The 100 healings mark that I couldn't even achieve.'
Naruto and Sasuke used Rasen Shuriken and Flame Control on two giant beings. Then they took out the one in front of Sakura, "Sasuke!" Naruto grumbled, "Um... I'm here too... Sakura." Sasuke frowned, "Don't drag us down, Naruto." Sakura nodded, "He's right! Keep complaining and I'll just grab the title of Hokage away from you!"
"Not you too, Sakura?!"
Kiba commented, "Hey, Team 8! Let's go too! We can't let Team 7 show us up! I've worked out a new jutsu too, Naruto! Don't think you're the only one with this jutsu! Shadow Clone Jutsu!" He signed the jutsu, but only one clone was formed.
"Did you just say Shadow Clone Jutsu?", asked Naruto, "All you did was make one clone!" Kiba sighed, "Just watch, there may be one but he's three times as strong. Come on, Akamaru!" Kiba, the clone, and Akamaru turned into a three-headed wolf, then they rolled into a rotating disc and cut three of the giant beings in half.
Shino rushed forward and punched a giant being, nothing happened but an insect crawled off his hand into the clone. "Parasictic Gigantic Beetle Infestation", the clone began to deform until giant beetles burst out of it's body. Ino screamed, "Gross! What are those?!"
Hinata used thirty-two palms on a clone, then after remembering Neji's words she pushed herself to do sixty-four palms.
"Come on, Team 10! Let's attack with the Ino-Shika-Cho Combination!,' pushed Ino. Choji grinned, "Formation E!" Shikamaru groaned, "This isn't the Chuunin exams. We're not competing against the other teams. This is war..." They took out 25 enemies using the Human Boulder Yo-yo.
It was getting harder to fight off all the fission beings as they grew in number and size. Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura realized what they needed to do after talking to Sai.
They bit their thumbs and put down summoning seals. "- Summoning Jutsu!"
Sasuke had summoned Aoda; Naruto, Gamakichi; and Sakura, Katsuyu. Minato chuckled, "I never expected to see the three-way deadlock summoning again!" The three got to it, Sasuke and Naruto headed straight to the main body of ten tails.
Gamakichi leaped into the air and deflected everything the beings threw at them. Aoda weaved in and out of the way of the clones. Katsuyu broke into multiple small pieces, going off to heal shinobi. The ninja' she went towards were confused, "What's going on?" Shizune calmed them down, "It's all right. These slugs are part of the fifth hokage's Healing Jutsu."
Naruto formed a Massive Rasen Shuriken just as Sasuke made an arrow with Susanoo's Flame Control. Both Jutsu were released and meshed together with the perfect chakra balance. Everyone watched as ten tails was ingulfed in black flames.
On the battlefield where the Kage fought Madara, three figures neared. Orochimaru, Karin, and Suigetsu stopped near the unconcious Kage. They went to heal Tsunade, "Wait, was the Hokage always a granny?", asked Karin.
After reattaching Tsunade's lower half to her upper half and healing her, the three headed off to the battlefield leaving her to finish healing the other Kage.
Once the other Kage were concious, Katsuyu caught them up on the war. They decided to head to the battlefield as fast as they could.
Back on the battlefield, Sasuke was waiting for the ten tails to burn more. Then it suddenly detached the piece of itself that was on fire.
Obito fell back into the world on top of ten tails, with a hole in his chest after fighting Kakashi. As Madara started to take over Obito's body with black Zetsu, he started to sign the Rinne Rebirth Jutsu. Hashirama made five clones to try and stop Madara, and Tobirama made two which followed.
Sasuke and Naruto headed towards ten tails to stop Obito, but when Sasuke attacked his Jutsu was deflected. Raiden noticed that the clones were no match for Madara. He rushed toward Madara and used his Kekkai Genkai, "Hurricane Release: Hurricane's Reign!"
He released hurricane force winds in a windling pattern towards Madara, lightning on the outskirts. Everyone was awed by the Kekkai Genkai they had never seen before. As Raiden neared, Madara put up his full armored Susanoo. Raiden added a small water dragon, which zoomed through the center of the winds at a high speed.
Minato reacted and teleported to Obito, he sliced through the hole in his chest to his shoulder. Obito choked on his blood, "Sensei...". Minato gasped, "Obito! That... was you?"
Obito fell forward, hitting the ground face-first.
Raiden's hurricane jutsu broke through three layers of Madara's Susanoo until only the skeletal layer was left. Madara chuckled, but was surprised by the strength of the attack. Raiden had pulled out his uchigatana, the blade slicing through the air and the last layer of Susanoo. What he hadn't noticed though was that Obito had been stopped, so Madara's hands were free.
He made the horse hand seal, "Fire Release: Majestic Destroyer Flame." Raiden quickly jumped back but the flames engulfed him, and the force threw him into an earthen wall. The wall crumbled and fell on him, causing him to get buried under the rubble.
"After that first jutsu, I thought he'd be better than that", stated Madara. The third hokage had tried to stop his impact, but he was too slow, "Damn it, Madara."
The clones arrived in front of Madara, "What a failure," the Uchiha laughed. Every shinobi stared towards Madara wondering how they would stop him, then they saw Minato. "Did they succeed?!", asked a random Kumo ninja. A Leaf ninja grinned, "That's Lord Fourth Hokage!" Tobirama looked where Minato had been, he was still there, 'He teleported a shadow clone. Had he marked him already?'
"A Flying Raijin marking never disappears. I didn't teach you that, did I, Obito? If you were alive, I would have wanted you to become Hokage... Why did you...?" Minato sighed.
Sasuke walked up to him, "That was disappointing... All that's left to do is seal the un-reborn Madara... and this war will be over. As well as this giant thing. Obito grinned evilly, "What makes you think the war is over... my fellow traitor?"
Their eyes widened as they heard him speak, ten tails pulled it's appendages out of Hashirama's Gracious Deity Gate Seals. Minato and Sasuke leapt off of ten tails, but it pulled them in as it was absorbed.
"Dad! Sasuke!", yelled Naruto, he grabbed them with extended Bijuu arms. He pulled them back down on either side of him. Gamakichi jumped into one of the wooden gates, they watched as ten tails was being sucked into something. "Is the ten tails changing from again?", asked Sasuke.
Naruto gasped as it formed into a ball, "No, that's not what's happening. He shook off Madara's manipulation and was weaving the signs to do this from the beginning!"
The ball began to crack like an egg and the pieces exploded.
"That's... the Ten Tails' Jinchuriki!", commented Naruto. Obito lifted up his hand and grabbed a part of his new Jinchuriki form that was covering his face, pulling it off.
As Raiden slipped further into unconciousness, he thought about his youth and his real name. "Junji!', he heard someone calling his name, then he fell into darkness.
