"Hey, Pepper, can you get that?" Tony shouted. Without waiting for a reply, he continued his work on a new addition to the Iron Man suit. "Highway to hell" played in the background.
"Uh-huh. Yeah, I'll tell him," Pepper said. "Tony, Thor's back."
"Thor? Really?" Tony asked as he paused the music.
"Yeah, he's coming here. Tomorrow," Pepper added. She couldn't be sure if Tony was listening.
"Okay, cool. Hey, be sure to buy, like, twenty boxes of pop-tarts, and like, eight whole turkeys. Thor's gonna eat a lot."
"Um, okay. Oh, Natasha Romanov is coming to help while Thor's here."
"Okay." The music started again.
Thor never got used to flying on planes. It wasn't the same as flying with a hammer. You were always strapped into a seat, and there was no wind.
'It's worth it,' he thought. 'At least I can visit Midgard.' Midgard had some of the best things Thor could think of. Jane Foster was one of them. His friends, the Avengers, were a few more. Hawk-eye, Blackwidow, Captain America, Hulk, Iron Man, and himself made the Avengers. Not a month ago, the Avengers were fighting Thor's own brother, Loki. Hulk, or Banner, had pretty much almost destroyed Loki. He would have, too, if Loki wasn't a frost giant.
At Stark tower, Agent Phil Coulson arrived with Thor.
"Phil, hi. Hello Thor," Pepper said as the elevator opened.
"Once again, Agent! His first name is Agent!" Tony called as he walked into the room.
"Oh, Tony, come on. Do you have to wear the Iron Man suit? Now?"
"Yeah. This way I can stand Thor."
"Tony!" Thor said. He slammed a hand down on Tony's shoulder, but Tony didn't even flinch.
"See?" Tony pointed out. Pepper snorted. Leave it to Tony to find a reason to do or argue with anything and everything.
