Her laugh and smile made his insides warm and he was sure Yukine could feel it too but he didn't care because when Yukine was with Hiyori, he could feel the affection Yukine had for her. He could feel the warmth and happiness that came whenever they were together and he wasn't sure she knew she was his lifeline but he sure knew damn well she was.
He was forgotten by many that it formed some kind of phobia that he was just too damn scared she'll forget.
And when she did, he was in denial.

Yukine looked pretty confused but when she stared at him weirdly and leaned in towards Yukine to ask if he was his friend, he swore his heart broke in two pieces.
