Ceres was at her home alone while her brother was at the hospital getting treatment. She was sad for many reasons. She was by herself, even if she shouldn't be because of her age, and she wasn't with her brother.
She remembered every part of the last six months perfectly, since the day Kirth found out about his cancer. He was, and still is, in so much pain…

Ceres walked into her bathroom beside her bedroom with a bag full of her mother's feminine products. She dumped out the bag and found her prize. A pair of scissors.
She walked to the sink where a mirror was hanging, and stood upon the stool to help her see. She then took a lock of her beautiful black hair and cut it.
When she finished, Ceres piled her hair in her shirt and ran downstairs to the front door and stood there. The door handle shook from someone trying to get in, and finally opened. There stood Ceres' parents and brother. Harry and Izumi both looked shocked at Ceres' short hair, but Kirth just looked joyful.

Ceres showed Kirth the hair in her shirt. Kirth smiled at his little sister and took off his hat, showing his head. All of his hair had fallen out long ago so he was used to it. Kirth put the hat on Ceres' head and hugged her.
