Title: Candy Corn

Summary: Orihime wants Hisagi to try candy corn. Her logic fails for him.
Author's Note: Unmitigated crack and fluff. This was written for a friend of mine, who happened to write an excellent Orihime. It was spawned after she and I wrote Hisagi and Orihime becoming friends in a game, which lead to all sorts of crack. I'm simply subjecting you to one of them.

"It's candy?"
"Hai!"
"And corn?"
"It's candy corn!"
"But…how can corn be candy?"
"Magic!"
"…But corn isn't candy."
"Try it, Shuuhei-kun! It tastes really good!"
"…but it's corn!"
"You don't like corn?"
"Well, I do--"
"You like candy, right?"
"Well, yeah, it's just…"
When his mouth is open Orihime pops a piece of the aforementioned treat into his mouth, smiling as he instinctively closes his mouth and starts chewing.
When he swallows her grin brightens and she waits for his verdict. After a long silence she squirms, the anticipation too much for her.
"So? Did you like it, Shuuhei-kun?"
"…that's not corn."
