"What a monster"
"Stay away from him,"
"How did he end up like that?"
He's always crying...
Being feared by others,
Being hated by others,
Always being looked at as a monsters...
He was always crying...
He was always afraid, he might hurt the ones he cares for.
Always sitting on the slide of the playground, he kept his head down. He sat there alone.
He always was there when I went looking for him,
"Shizuo-kun?" I called softly to the young boy. He kept his head down, ignoring me. Again, he was covered in injuries. Letting out a sigh, I put my bag down and sat behind him. My back facing his, I pulled my legs to my chest with my arms resting on my knees. Looking up at the sky, we sat in silence,
"Why?" he finally asked,
"Hm?" I looked back at him.
"Aren't you afraid of me?" he asked glancing back at me.
I looked forward and shook my head, "Not really," I told him honestly.
"Why?"
I leaned back against him and smiled, "You're not different from anyone from this world." I closed my eyes, "You're still human. No matter what, that won't change." I got up and turned to him, "Just don't forget that, okay?" I slid down the slide and looked back at him, "Bye, Shizuo-kun." I turned and walked home silently.
Shizuo isn't different from any one. I wish he could understand that.
